Now I feel guilty for not seeing it in a theater. To be fair, I hadn’t been born yet.

And a message from me @JohnCleese thank you for this joke because I told it to a relative who hadn’t laughed anymore than four times in 35 years and she exploded with laughter and joy.

How funny!!! I am still a fan of Fawlty Towers. My favorite was the one where Manuel was on fire and you tried to put the fire out with a frying pan!!

When I was in parochial high school in the US circa 70s we would memorize the MP skits & recite them religiously at the most inopportune times. I remember taking final exams in a dead quiet room when a fellow alum said, “what about pointed sticks”? 😂 Uproarious bedlam ensued.

"Blessed are the cheese makers" "Oh?-what's so special about the cheese makers?" "Well obviously it's not supposed to be taken literally, but refers to any manufacturer of dairy products" That line still cracks me up, even after 47 yrs. Thank you for the yrs of mirth, Mr. Cleese.

I can see were you got your wit from. You was blessed to be her son. I miss my mum everyday. She died 2011 at the young age of 64.

Wish the group was still around to do "Life of Brian's Sister" (or cousin... whatever) So much "new" material with which to work.
