You mean you’re severely understaffed, running a multi million pound operation without a backup system? (FYI even PlayStation has one) You can point it at safety all you want to filer arguments but it’s obvious! #gatwick #ukflights

Thank you for your sincere apology as I sit with my family in Barcelona after our flight was cancelled, we have just spent an additional 3,000 euros flying back to the UK via Dublin, looking forward to your SLT’s resignation, absolute waste of time.

Even highly reliable systems are subject to failure. Statistics do not allow us to have a plan with zero risk of loss. What matters is that the system goes to a safe condition in case of failure. Even with the inconvenience, security was maintained.

I’m surprised there is no back up system available. In Hong Kong, there’s an entire backup ATC centre for these things. Where’s yours?
