A message to Washington Post subscribers

Thank you Michelle for being transparent in your efforts to regain the trust and support of the public. Don’t punish the employees for the decision of the boss.

Yes, the cancellations will probably hurt the journalists, certainly not Bezos. I'm sorry.

I’m sorry but since 2015 we have begged the media to do their jobs, but the @washingtonpost journalists chose to be willing and pliant accomplices of Trump, trading our democracy for clicks & book deals. Americans have suffered & died because of the media’s surrender to him.

I didn’t cancel, largely because of you.

Thank you for the reminder of who will be impacted the most by canceling my subscription. This is so true, since I really got a subscription just because of you and a few others. Be blessed

Publisher William Lewis is not on the side of democracy. Lewis is on the side of Jeff Bezos. He cowers at his feat and is his mouthpiece. If Lewis resigns it might, just might, begin the clean up of The Post's shattered reputation. 200,000 of us sent a message. Lewis must go.

Your stories will be buried by Bezos. Don’t kid yourself. Tegardless of what you believe he will not give you the ability to tell the truth. WaPo is dead. You just can’t see it
