Ford’s upcoming film is called Cry to Heaven, an American historical drama written, produced, and directed by Ford. It’s based on the 1982 novel by Anne Rice & features none other than…Adele. Am I allowed to say Quentin Tarantino simply for the fact Tarantino hasn’t made a movie in almost 7 years? I honestly think that’s worse than making stinkers. To make a bad film is to at least try. Tarantino sort of acts like he’s above Cinema right now. I don’t love his stance.

Quentin Tarantino, like anyone, is entitled to his opinion about other films. But if I’m being totally honest, I just wish he’d give us another film at this point. I think QT’s “10 film rule” is a little baseless & fails to acknowledge a lot of great movies from other directors.

Quentin Tarantino visits Video Archives. In 1994, Quentin Tarantino visited the video store in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles, where he worked for 5 years (from 1984 to 1990). That’s where he met his collaborator and co-writer Roger Avary and soaked up B-movies, exploitation flicks, and classics that would shape his style and approach to cinema.
