This is the referee who admitted that he intentionally didn’t send his mate to the monitor to look at a clear red card incident because he didn’t want him to get a bit of stick from the crowd. This was a small error. Similar to when Tierney applied the same rule incorrectly in the first half in forests favour or missing the high foot in this situation.
