And if by some chance, you develop a bond with the child and she, for whatever reason, decides the relationship is over, you not only lose her, but you lose the relationship you built with the child as well. She pulls out her water hose, knocks over her planters, but one day, the neighbor is home and follows her to her house. As the little girl’s mom stands outside with her daughter, it’s the neighbor making her apologize. Why isn’t the mother making her? The mother didn’t even apologize and she’s standing there fixing her daughter’s hair. I think the neighbor handled it as well as can be. She was very polite. Ms. Destiny is a lovely lady and an angel. But something is off with the little girl. The mother seems off as well. Something isn’t right at that house. Some people say those are great neighbors and this is how you build community while others say they are nosey and should just mind their own business and let her do the job she went outside to do. Where do you stand? Do you like being watched and have a conversation started by your neighbors when you are doing yard work outside or does it not bother you at all in the least?
