The Thar isn’t the problem , the mindset behind its steering wheel is. But somehow, the moment some people sit in a Thar, discipline disappears and ego takes over. Driving a Thar into a river or the sea isn’t adventure or style.

THAR is not a fantastic vehicle to drive in city or normal conditions, mostly those who buying it have goon type mentality.

The car was being driven along the beach at Antervedi, where the Godavari River merges into the ocean.The driver was unaware that such a spot existed.Before he could apply the brakes, the vehicle fell into that area. There were no warning signs, and the incident happened at night

This is depressing to see and it's rapidly earning the Thar a very bad name. As an owner, it pains me deeply @anandmahindra @MahindraRise Please fix this problem before it snowballs into something uncontrollable.

THAR is too powerful to be driven by the idiot drivers. Unfortunately, 90% of Indian drivers are idiots. No driving sense. To them - a big vehicle means more power on the road.

The one good thing about a Thar marking this (mis) adventure is; you get a "free car wash". The car looks clean. Spick and span.

After the Andhbhakts, a new breed of chutiyas have emerged. They are called #Tharbuddhi. We beat them up at their slightest provocation, so they walk the line around our area. lol.

Problem is that Thar Owners expect movies like performance from Thar but it does not fulfill that.. Which is a good thing. They think it can do all those adventurous things anywhere, but sadly its not there yet.. Again a good thing.

We must encourage those who want to driving a Thar into a river or the sea - it will be one less Thar on the road - and the human gene pool may see an improvement.

Before posting harsh comments, please take a min to understand the facts. This incident was not caused by the Thar driver. The primary reason is the unsafe design of that Antharvedi road, which suddenly emerges & has already proven to be risky. Let’s avoid assumptions & post.

Think Mahindra also includes a package of stupidity when they sell Thar. 🤣 Stupid people do stupid things, you can use fire to cook and also to burn the forest.
