Meet the world’s first Centaur Robot Chinese company Run Robotics just unveiled a hybrid robot with a humanoid upper body and a wheeled-legged lower body. Designed for nuclear plants, steel mills, oil fields, mining, and emergency response, it can reportedly carry 100–120 kg (up to 210 kg static) while combining the speed of wheels with the mobility of legs.

LimX TRON 2 can easily walk while carrying a 30kg tire. Don't be surprised if, in the future, it is used for rescue operations or outdoor transport tasks… This is a modular robot platform capable of transforming into a biped, a quadruped, or a centaur humanoid robot.

New project in collaboration with Adrian Wilkins ! 🤖 It’s been a while since I’ve worked on a sci-fi project, so I’m excited to dive back into it. I’m handling the animation & rigging for this robot. More to come! #GameDev #GameAnimation #SciFi #robot #animation

Japanese robotics startup Tokyo Robotics has developed a humanoid robot called Torobo. The robot walks with smooth and natural human-like movement. It can also copy human motions in real time through full-body remote control while maintaining good balance.

Boston Dynamics has demonstrated its new Atlas humanoid robot lifting and carrying a 50-pound fridge. The robot uses its whole body to balance and move the heavy object in a natural, human-like way. Before doing it in the real world, Atlas practiced the task for millions of hours in a virtual simulation.

China didn’t wait for permission. It shipped a Terminator. EngineAI’s T800 — built in Shenzhen — just walked into a San Francisco cage and dropped an American fighter with one kick. First human-vs-robot cage fight on U.S. soil. Chinese robot. Chinese win. From lab to octagon in record time. While others write papers, China puts metal in the ring. This is the pace now. Build. Ship. Fight. Repeat. The future isn’t coming. It’s already kicking. 🇨🇳🤖

We are advancing a range of measures to assist with the energy situation, which will be targeted and temporary. I particularly welcome the focus on the fuel allowance will benefit up to half a million people, including those on the working family payment.

Meet Tron 2, a robot from China-based LimX Dynamics that can change its body for different jobs. It can use a fixed base for precise tasks, a wheeled-leg base to carry heavy loads, or two legs to walk and climb stairs. The arms and brain stay the same, while the lower body changes depending on the mission.

🇰🇷 A wheelchair user can now stand up and walk because the robot comes to them. South Korea's WalkON Suit F1 doesn't need to be strapped on by a caregiver. It approaches the user, docks itself to the body, and helps people with paraplegia stand and move independently. Using cameras, sensors, and AI, it can detect obstacles, maintain balance, and even navigate stairs.

Oh wow, a Chinese Humanoid Robot ran a half-marathon in 51 minutes. I’d like to see it win an NBA championship by erasing a 3-point deficit with a layup, steal the ball and then hit clinching jumper (while being the only person on the team to touch the ball the entire sequence).

A robot that picks up scattered items has been created in the US Stringman is attached to the ceiling by cables and can move around the entire room. It recognizes objects on the floor, picks them up and puts them in predetermined places. If the robot needs help, it can be controlled manually with a gamepad. The device is already on sale for around $965.

Can someone explain to me how this is better than the half second it takes to press down on the drive stalk on a Tesla with stalks? With stalks there is never a doubt you’re in the right gear.
