Can someone explain to me how this is better than the half second it takes to press down on the drive stalk on a Tesla with stalks? With stalks there is never a doubt you’re in the right gear.

With no stalks there’s no doubt either. You literally just look and see if the vehicle is forward or reverse. I’ve found it to be quite simple.

I also love the rock into forward while reversing move with the stalk that probably isn't possible with this.

FSD V14.3.3 Bug (feature?) You can no longer start FSD with the steering wheel button - you have to press on the screen. Once you’re in drive you can tap the button on the steering wheel to engage FSD though. Not sure if this is intentional or not? Tesla AI

Sorry… I beg your pardon… you’re telling me that in 2026 you’re still holding the steering wheel, pressing the brake and accelerator the entire drive? I just press a button and my Tesla takes me to my destination with FSD… to the point where I almost forget how I even got there. I’m living in the future, and you’re still choosing to drive like it’s the past. Same road… completely different realities.

Coming out to a preconditioned car with a warm seat and letting it drive me to my daughter’s work on a -33c morning is the type of thing that causes Tesla owners to roll their eyes at you when you say “but they’re no good in the winter.” This is my 6th winter with my Model 3 and it has 357,000km on it. Still working better than when I bought it.
