Ushering in a new era of digital governance through 'Maha eHRMS' Delighted to launch the ‘Maha eHRMS’ Digital Human Resource Management System at Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai today, along with its key services: the ‘Maha eHRMS’ Mobile App, ‘Maha-IAS’ Portal and ‘Mentor-Mentee’ Portal. Maharashtra has emerged as a national leader in transforming human resource management through a series of far-reaching reforms. The Maha eHRMS is a notable example of this transformation, bringing greater efficiency, transparency and dynamism to public administration. This system will become a defining face of dynamic and technology-driven governance, showcasing yet another success story of Maharashtra’s digital capabilities and setting a benchmark for the nation. Government officials and employees often find themselves bound by rules, government resolutions and conventional practices. The Government Process Re-engineering (GPR) initiative marks a key step towards modernising the century-old paper-based administrative system making governance simpler, faster and technology-driven. Motivation is vital in public service, with career progression and promotions playing an important role. The new system will streamline promotions and bring the entire employee lifecycle from appointment to retirement onto a single digital platform. The General Administration Department deserves appreciation for its significant contribution to developing this system and advancing Maharashtra towards more efficient, technology-driven governance. Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narwekar, DCM Sunetratai Pawar, Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha ji, Minister Jaykumar Rawal, senior officials and other dignitaries were present.
