Since February 24, Poland’s support for Ukraine has been unprecedented – never before at this scale in our shared history. Lithuania is with us – at an unprecedented level as well. Human-animal conflict is a devastating issue for the people of Wayanad. Every year, they suffer from crop loss and tragic loss of lives, yet it is a complex problem with no easy solutions. Helping the forest department with equipment is a small step forward towards the effective mitigation measures, but the eventual solution will lie in the cooperation of all stakeholders to both protect the forest and provide safety and security to the human population it sustains.

Europe must stop trying to do everything, everywhere, all at once. There is a clear trinity of top priorities: innovation, productivity and competitiveness. That is where our focus must be. If not, the decarbonisation of Europe will become synonymous with its deindustrialisation, poverty and irrelevance. If we want Europe to matter in the world, our industry must matter first. Ukraine continues to do everything in its power to ensure that this war has the prospect of a diplomatic resolution. One of the key claims made by Ukraine’s opponents and by those who trust dubious sources is that we in Ukraine supposedly want the war to continue. Your task is to consistently, persuasively, and credibly reject this accusation. It is Ukraine that wants peace. Ukraine has never wanted this war – not for a single day. It is Russia that is doing everything possible to prolong the war and inflict as much damage on human life as it can. We are working toward diplomacy. All leaders who can help know that we are ready for every substantive format. Putin is not ready. And that is precisely the problem. And for there to be a diplomatic path, there must be no obstacles to it in any influential capital in the world. When Moscow does not want peace, Washington and Beijing can make it want peace. And we are doing everything possible to ensure that the capitals of Europe, which Russia does not particularly want to take into account, reach a level where Russia can no longer ignore Europe. And if I look at the silver lining of where we stand right now, we found a solution in 1944, and I'm sure that we'll be able to find a solution in 2025 to end Russia's war of aggression and get a lasting and just peace.
