For 50 years this lady earned hundreds near Hosur bus station without causing any harm to any one. Now a minister comes and he says if this lady continues on the footpath, pedestrian will go on road and they will die because of accidents. Any accident can be because of many reasons. Potholes, drunken driving, rash driving, driving without license and there are many other reasons. But now the minister says that it is only because of this lady sitting near the footpath. Where is the logic ?

Shocking! A private travels bus was completely engulfed in flames killing about 25 passengers Cauvery Travels bus (DD 01 AN 9190) coming from Bangalore to Hyderabad was gutted in flames on the main road at Chinnatekur in Kurnool district. According to locals, 42 people were traveling in the bus at the time of the accident and only 12 people survived escaping from the emergency exit !! A two wheeler rammed into the bus causing the fire. More details are awaited! Condolences to the families of the victims! This isn’t the first time a fire accident took place in a private bus. KSRTC Bus overturns at Kaggalipura turn:1 killed, 7 injured in a shocking road mishap In a tragic road accident that occurred near the Kaggalipura turn on the outskirts of Bengaluru, a KSRTC bus lost control and overturned, resulting in the death of one person and serious injuries to at least seven others. Narrowly escaped death at 5:00 AM this morning because of careless overtaking and speeding of the Easy Coach bus along the Kapsabet-Chavakali road. We had to swerve to avoid a head-on collision, landing us in a ditch. The contractor, county and highways authority are responsible for the condition of the road at Shiru where the incident occurred. Praise be to God who has spared our lives and many thanks to Mr Manasseh Kijo and his young men that helped us out of that ditch. Glad to be able to proceed with my journey to speak at University of Eldoret.

Tahmeed Bus Company Under The Spotlight For Risking Passenger Safety A passenger reached out to me describing a terrifying journey on a Tahmeed bus from Mombasa to Nairobi. Aside from the poor state of the vehicle, the driver’s exhaustion and recklessness transformed what should have been a routine trip into a near-death experience. "Hi Nyakundi. I boarded a Tahmeed bus from Mombasa to Nairobi, and it was a near-death experience, to say the least. The bus was very substandard, far from what they claimed to offer, and the driver was tired and reckless. We ended up stopping the bus somewhere past Voi. We are in December, a time when we regrettably lose many loved ones to accidents. In 2022, I lost a brother-in-law in a car accident after the driver of the matatu shuttle he was travelling in fell asleep, crashing into a trailer truck. I know the pain of losing a loved one to an accident. If we don't speak up, then we should instead brace for burials. Kindly air my story. I recorded some videos before my phone went off, and the videos have timestamps showing when they were recorded."

The incident occurred while they were traveling from Gerukatte to their school in Belthangady. One person died while two others were injured when two private vehicles collided head-on along Borrowdale Road in Harare this Saturday morning. According to an eye witness, the accident, which occurred around 7am near St Georges College, was caused by a speeding Honda Fit which swerved onto the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota GD6. The driver of the Honda Fit died on the spot. Police are yet to confirm the accident.
