A QUESTION for the BBC, When your team was doing the editing for the BAFTAS, and you edited out "Free Palestine", what was the thought process behind the decision to leave THE most offensive slur against the Black community, firmly in the broadcast? Who made THAT specific decision?

@BBC Especially when asked by the studio to edit it out for the audience at home. That's the thing so many are missing, how casually those not affected consider the impact of that word and I don't want to hear about rap lyrics.

@BBC Because that was said on stage into a mic? The slur was shouted out from way back in the crowd. The Tourette’s guy had been seated far from the stage towards the back. His night had already been adjusted in service of other people. You could barely make the word out watching live

@BBC Wow, BBC is huge. Here is the list of their divisions and subsidiaries, if anyone is interested. Seriously, in a company this large, you would think SOMEONE would have been professional enough to know that racial slurs should be edited out of a pre-taped program.
