This is incredible!! Will be keeping this on hand for when I make my husband's fursuits ears and tail (they will be made from minky and this will be a lifesaver for how slippery the fabric is lol)

Happy to help! :) depending on the shape you want with the ears and tail you may look at other types of interfacing too, I loooove using fusible foam for small rigid shapes

Oooooo so beautiful!

Thank you!

Smooth like my brain 🧠. Keep up the great work!!!

@BInsanity88 Thanks friend!

If you wanted to make a full minky head with smooth seams like this, would you need to cover the entirety of your pattern in it or could you just overlay it on the bumps? (I have no idea how these things work LOL)

You could theoretically do that, however this was a flat piece and a face sock has more complex shapes so you'd probably have to interface each piece before sewing which may give you bulkier seams. I'd probably use a thinner interfacing and line up the stretch.

fusible interfacing is such a life saver, I used it for my plushie face and it turned out soo much better than the previous one. I just used a very light one as well and it works great! also loving the gradient on those ears

Fusible interfacing is amazing, there's so many possibilities! And thank you ☺️
