Emirates update: after temporary suspension/diversions, they’re resuming a limited schedule at Dubai Airport from 10:00 local time today. Some flights canceled due to the ongoing drone-related airspace issues.... re-accommodation offered to affected passengers. IMO: it’s frustrating for travelers, but Emirates is handling it transparently and trying to get things back on track as fast as possible

#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana | A passenger says, "...I reached the airport in the morning at around 5 am. I went to the Indigo counter. They told me the flight is cancelled. When actually it wasn't cancelled... I showed my boarding pass, and they said yes. They were very sure my flight was cancelled. And they sent me home... I was asked to exit number 8... The IndiGo staff noted down all my details. At around 7 am, someone calls me from the boarding gate, asking where I am because the flight is about to leave. I said I've been sent back home by the IndiGo staff... If they say the flight is cancelled, I will obviously believe... I don't know whether they have a sinister plan to get, maybe, some people from yesterday who were stranded, or maybe it is overbooked. I don't know. But I've never heard such a situation in my life. They tell me your flight is cancelled. They sent me home. And the flight is actually not cancelled... Now I have come back, and I'm standing in this long queue..."

I spend my days taking care of their health and my nights advocating for their needs. The Бабця needs help to take care of the sons of others. But now, since the situation was such that I had to keep going anyway, I told the flight attendant, “I’m sorry, but would it be okay if I stand for a bit?” ⛰️ When I say it like this, it sounds like I’m making a show of it, but I just wanted to tell you how much it meant to me/how sincere I was about it. Really. It’s not like “I did well, praise me.” It’s just that that one stage and you all were so precious to me**, so in my own way I tried saying this. This woman was 12 minutes late to the gate and the airline gave their seats to other customers with standby tickets. The rules are rules for a reason but if the gates are still open, is this just being petty? They are there now so I don’t see why they can’t just have the seats they paid for. I remember when I was almost sprinting to the gate because the watch j was wearing stopped working, I just didn’t know it. I thought I had plenty of time so as I walked to get something to eat I saw some of the gate time displays and in the corner of the screen displayed a time. I was confused because when I looked at my watch it said 1:30pm, my flight left at 2:30pm and the time on the screen was 2:25pm. I kept walking and passed a gift shop that had a clock and it also said 2:25pm. I hurried to the employee at the shop and asked what time it was and they pointed to the clock meaning that was the actual time. I took off to the gate because I knew there was a big chance I wasn’t going to make my flight. I got there right at 2:30pm. They were getting just letting the last people on. I had my ticket in hand and she said she had to make sure I could still board. Initially when she walked back she had a worried look on her face as if she had bad news, I was prepared for the worst but luck was on my side as she said they agreed to let me on. My next flight I wasn’t so lucky but I will save that for another time. My luck ran out for the rest of the day though, it made me think if I was better off missing that flight. The guy I was sat by snored bad, I had a delay at my next connecting flight, and the food they gave me made me nauseated but I was still thankful I made it home on time.

I have been traveling nearly nonstop for over 2 months. Tonight was my last flight for the next 7 weeks. I’m beyond exhausted and miss my family. My flight landed just before midnight and I have a 38 mile drive home. Thank you Tesla AI for FSD. Because of your amazing technology, I know I will make it home to my family safe. It’s got me covered on all angles. I don’t have to worry about an attention lapse that could cost me my life. Stepping off the safest form of travel and into my Tesla is a reminder that soon, driving won’t be the dangerous endeavor it is today. And owning a car with FSD and using it correctly puts me ahead of the game. Seeing my family at the end of a long trip is worth it.
