There have been multiple occasions of passenger jets being hit by missiles where the soldiers mistook the plane for a enemy plane/missile. Only takes one time for this to happen in UAE where there are daily drone attacks at the airport area. Not worth the risk.

Luxury is a great distraction, but it doesn't change the flight path. Emirates is elite, but no amount of caviar makes up for a potential airspace closure or an emergency reroute. For many, a boring direct flight over a stable region still beats a pampered layover in a zone that's currently "too hot" for comfort.

When operational efficiency is combined with hospitality, the journey becomes smoother and more confident.

Fake news

No amount of pampering will make me risk mine or my family’s lives with a long layover in Dubai - with the current situation in the Middle East. I cancelled my daughter’s Emirates flight which had a 12 hour layover.

Different when not in economy like most passengers

My life is worth more than that

In other news, you still can't fly from Bangkok via UAE

My son and me flew with Emirates from Dubai to Frankfurt yesterday. It was a very good experience, we felt safe and very well taken care of. It was the best flight I've ever had.

I wonder UAE and Zio use the same agencies for pay you.

Those avoiding the Middle East over 'risks' are swallowing propaganda. Emirates and the UAE run circles around European carriers.

Presumably they were not travelling in economy?

Not for me, though I returned home , my experience with Emirates is terrible, I had no communication with them whatsoever and even closed their communication. Don't expect to use them again. Wonder why certain passengers have preferential treatment over others.

Traveled with just prior to the war and the service was terrible not getting the seats we had booked and got done over by one of their code share partners.with no apologies just there is your seat money back.

Fab. But only for those rich enough to afford business class. Nothing like the normal passenger experience and Emirates’ economy service isn’t what it used to be, like many airlines.

Ive flown emirates for 25 years and been a gold member most of that time. Apart from Singapore airlines, no one else comes close to Emirates

Safety of life >>>>>>>>>>> Emirates service

Buseniss class ?

Great Airline. 26 flights a year and always seat 23A upstairs 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

That’s not an economy class flight experience. Judge an airline by how it handles a crisis…and I’ve flown Emirates in a crisis

Competence becomes visible when tested. Emirates and UAE infrastructure proved reliable when it mattered. Passengers experience that quality firsthand. That reputation is earned.

@emirates It's only because of this war that they trying to be nice..otherwise they keep shafting our arses with expensive fares..hope they will realise & take this as a warning g and respect their customers and offer cheaper & fairer fares in future, wake up

Avoiding Middle East at the moment. Unfortunately we had to cancel our upcoming trip to Doha and Dubai. Also going to somewhere else via DXB or AUH isn’t bookable for us at the moment. It’s simply and sadly to unreliable 😭😭😭

Follow your governments advice.

While not giving a care for their own crew forcing them to work

🙄

They are sold by the Gillette shaving foam and under arm fragrance stick. 😊

Avoid

They have to proof again and relearn customer care

Absolutely, I fly with emirates services outstanding , very caring and professional as always , I will suggest and request please don’t let fall down. This outstanding airline , we all beneficiaries of this airline , lets spread positive words and motivate others to book. Via

Okay tutto bello ma quella è la first class e li sono sempre stati i numeri uno anche non in tempi di guerra. Discorso diverso se ha pagato la economy e poi è stato spostato in first gratis.

Does not look that busy?

@EmiratesSupport we flying via Dubai to Bangkok. Our 8-yrs old niece flying with Emirates for the first time and is nervous. Is it possible to consider a complimentary upgrade if the flight is not full? It would really help make her first experience more special, ease her fear.
