🇮🇪🇮🇪Boycott the long valley in cork 🇮🇪🇮🇪Upon arrival the door man was very polite and respectful and said no problem please , welcome, one or 2 people from our group entered the premises and were immediately greeted by a man who claimed we were not “welcome “ with “those” flags 🇮🇪, to which at least 4 passers by overheard and then proceeded to question the man as to why Irish flags were not being allowed into an Irish pub. Derek Blighe Conor McGregor Malachy Steenson please help us highlight this.

WELL I was assaulted by a schizo homeless guy today in Toronto. I was walking to the grocery store when he started stalking me. I tried to get away from him but it didn’t work. He grabbed me, pinned me against a fence, and then tried to break my hand to steal my phone. Three people passing by helped save me. The police were quick and kind, but the officer I spoke with told me this guy had been arrested for attacking people repeatedly in the past month, and “fair warning, a judge will probably let him out by tomorrow morning.” 🫠 lovely system we got goin on here folks

I loathe sounding like a boomer. But. When I was a kid, Home Depot was run entirely by guys who could make a dovetail joint with a pocket knife. Hobby lobby was staffed by grammas who could make a quilt by hand out of old t shirts (not a metaphor - I own one). Yesterday, we visited Home Depot and were greeted only by people who speak so little English they didn’t know what a respirator was. Not a single one of them have built anything in their life. The fabric desk at hobby lobby had a lady in a hijab who also didn’t speak English and couldn’t tell us the difference between two fabrics. Tried enjoying a quiet day at the lake today. Thankfully, I got to experience full cultural enrichment while enjoying my peaceful day out (sound on). I miss the country I knew.
