nature gave him unique wings. And here the matter is not only in the wings, the tail plays an important role. He is for the hawk and the steering wheel and brake and gearbox. Indeed, in the forest at high speed you can become a cutlet on the very first trunk.

A man glances into his backyard and spots something odd in the grass — a bird that doesn’t look right. He cautiously approaches and realizes it’s a majestic red-tailed hawk… but the bird can’t lift its head. As he gets closer, the shocking reason becomes clear: the hawk’s own talon was hooked through its eyebrow, yanking its head down to its feet. Heart pounding, the man gently frees the talon. The hawk immediately collapses backward, spread-eagle in total shock. Moments later it rights itself, staring in stunned awe. The man turns to grab some water — and just like that, the hawk launches into the sky, wings strong again, as if thanking its unlikely savior. Nature never ceases to amaze. ❤️ 🦅

That’s the spider tailed horned viper. It uses aggressive mimicry, its tail looks and moves like a spider to lure birds in. To the right prey, it basically signals "easy spider meal".
