A road car created from an abandoned race programme. The supercar that never compromised, never apologised, and never pretended to be approachable. Its 5.7 litre V10 a leftover from a Le Mans programme responds to throttle like it’s wired directly to your nervous system. The clutch is a test,... show more

BMW M5, E60. This is what made it special. The engine. V10 in a family saloon, what was BMW thinking or snorting back then? 500 hp from the S85B50 V10 engine, high revving and one of the best sounding V10's ever and the best sounding BMW of all time. Nothing else matters as much. Of course, there are downsides. Reliability isn’t great. This is not a simple car to own. But that’s part of it, high risk, high reward. You take care of it, and it gives you that V10 sound. Some even converted them to manual to ditch the SMG gearbox and USA even got the manual from factory. And there’s a Touring as well, even more added insanity.

A car Wicknell Chivayo gave away crashed on the Masvingo road. A man is dead. And half the timeline is celebrating, because of who gave the car. You don't have to like the man. But a crash has causes, and "the wrong person gave it to you" was never one of them.

It doesn’t sound good. It sounds unreal. The E60 M5’s V10 was a Formula 1 engine. Nothing sounds like it, not before or after. The E60 M5’s S85B50 V10 was born from BMW’s F1 research, ten throttle bodies, 8,250 rpm redline and a flat-plane–like firing order that gave it that razor-edged howl. Every gear change from the SMG-III gearbox adds a bark of mechanical aggression, making the car feel alive even at idle. The titanium valves, semi-dry sump, and ultra-short stroke allowed it to rev like a race engine. No turbos, no filters, just raw combustion turned into music. BMW has never made anything like it again.

THE TRUTH ABOUT BEDS The body does not only rest when the eyes close. It rests when the structure underneath it is finally allowed to do its job. On a soft bed the flesh sinks, the muscles keep negotiating a shape that never quite holds and the skeleton is excused from the one task it was built for, bearing weight. On the floor the bargain reverses. Bone meets ground, muscle can stop performing and the nervous system receives a simpler message—you are held, you do not have to hold yourself. Sleep, in that sense, is not an escape from the body. It is the moment the body is trusted again. What the modern mattress often conceals is a deeper habit of consciousness. All day the mind braces, planning, scanning, defending a self that must stay slightly lifted above what is real. Contact with the earth is a small death of the hovering self, no elevation, no cushion between you and the ground you came from. Relaxation is not something you achieve. It is what remains when the skeleton is allowed to carry you and the mind is finally permitted to be absent. We do not sleep so the day can resume. We sleep so the one who was bracing can dissolve and the body can remember it was never meant to hold the world alone.

Spaniards decided to feel like they were inside a video game and held a go-kart race from a third-person view The guys launched FPV drones that automatically followed the karts a few meters behind, filming from above and from the rear. The video was streamed directly to VR headsets. It feels like you’re watching yourself from the outside — just like in a game. The drivers say that in turns the brain gets confused: you want to control the camera, not the kart.

Since 1871, millions were unknowingly registered into a corporate system that turned human life into financial collateral. Now, the Great Awakening is exposing the truth and reclaiming sovereignty, freedom, and control from a system built on deception. You were not born free. You were processed. Stamped. Registered. Entered into a system that saw you not as a human being — but as value. Not emotional value. Not spiritual value. Financial value. From your very first breath, you were turned into collateral. Not metaphorically. Not symbolically. Literally. They didn’t protect you. They leveraged you. They built an entire global system on the back of your existence — a system you never voted for, never agreed to, and were never meant to understand. And while you were living your life, working, paying, obeying… They were trading you. The truth is simple, brutal, and impossible to ignore: You were never the owner of your life in their system. You were the asset.

Around 7 in the morning, a driver stopped his car in the middle of this busy road and climbed onto the roof of the car, trying to untangle something caught in a thread. He climbed onto the car once and got down once. Looking carefully, one could see that a pigeon was hanging in the middle of the road, entangled in a thread. The driver and his passengers were making every possible effort to save it. Crows and kites had started circling overhead. Cars behind were continuously honking, and there was practically a traffic jam on the road, but that man did not give up. One could notice that the driver used the blade of a small fan attached to the car to cut the thread and brought the bird down. Then, slowly and patiently, he took his time and cut the threads one by one, carefully freeing it. These days, even if someone is lying on the road, no one turns back to look; everyone is busy running their own race. Seeing such a sight, felt like sharing it with you all as well. It is because of people like these that we still haven't forgotten how to love. ❤️

Waymo’s AI and foundation model lead, Vincent Vanhoucke, on who has the final authority when LiDAR, radar, and cameras on the vehicle disagree: “It’s not like they’re voting. It’s a merger of the different information. The example I like is this: your left eye basically tells your brain that your nose is on the right; your right eye tells your brain your nose is on the left. It’s not like one eye is going to win that contest. You basically fuse in your brain the different information that’s slightly conflicting, but that actually gives you a global picture of the scene in front of you. Safety is a lot about redundancy. Safety really comes from taking different sources of information, never entirely trusting them 100%, and merging the evidence based on the different hints of information you get. The more information you add that comes from different sources, the more you improve the overall estimate of your belief. The fusion that happens between the different sensors is really the crux of enabling a very safe perception stack.” (via Google's DeepMind podcast)

The first Touareg had a V10 TDI. The second generation replaced it with something far less in size: a 4.2L V8 TDI, 340 PS and 800 Nm, which is actually 50 Nm more torque than the V10 it succeeded. This is also the generation that moved onto the same platform as the Porsche Cayenne, sharing its underpinnings and several engines with Audi and Porsche - a level of platform sharing that is unusual for a VW-badged car. As a daily driver it solved everything the V10 made difficult, but lighter, simpler, far less likely to leave you searching for obscure parts. Most people who know the Touareg only remember the V10 story. The V8 that replaced it was the better car in almost every way, and almost nobody talks about its since its not as great as the V10

Most of your life was given to you, not earned. That’s the part we never want to look at. The most honest kind of gratitude isn’t “I deserve this.” It’s “I was given a life millions will never get.” If your life is mostly a gift, not a reward—how are you using this precious gift?

🚔 “NO LICENSE… BUT FULL ATTITUDE PACKAGE INCLUDED” WHEN THE CAR SMELLS LOUDER THAN YOUR EXCUSES IMPOUND THE CAR… AND THE ATTITUDE Officer sees a car flying down the road like it’s late for a Fast & Furious audition… tailgating, lane switching like it’s a video game. Lights come on. 🚨 Driver pulls into a parking lot like, “Let me just park real quick like this is normal.” Officer walks up: “License?” Driver: “Yeah… about that… I don’t have one.” Officer: pause “So we just freestyling life now?? Then the officer catches a whiff… 🌿💨 Not a little smell… Not a maybe smell… That “this car got its own weather system” type smell. That car probably smelled like it filed its own taxes under “herbal business” Officer: “Ma’am, the car is getting impounded.” Driver: IMMEDIATELY UNLOCKS BOSS LEVEL ANGER “Oh NO it’s NOT!” She starts arguing & yellingtrying to head back to the car like there’s a hidden treasure chest inside. Officer: “Step away.” Driver: “I JUST NEED ONE THING….” Officer: “It’s not worth it.” Next thing you know… WWE parking lot edition 🤼‍♂️ She gets taken to the ground like the car just lost its final defender. At what point do you just say “yeah… this day is over” and cooperate??

A technical breakdown of the IMSA Nissan 300ZX. An extremely legendary Nissan racing machine that competed in IMSA GTO, GTS, Le Mans, and even briefly in the JGTC GT500 class. I understand the backlash Z32s get hard to work on, small engine compartment, unreliable, yada yada. I don’t know why, but I really like this chassis. Especially when you see a properly modified one, it genuinely looks like a supercar or an exotic from that era. To the untrained eye, you would never think it was an entry level to mid range sports car.

The GTR logo represents more than 3 letters. It's a tribute to the winning 1995 Le Mans F1 GTR. A prototype never intended to race. A car that defied the odds and became a champion. The MCL-HY GTR wears its legacy proudly, as its race car variant prepares to pursue the 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans title as part of the Triple Crown. #McLarenAuto #MCLHYGTR #F1GTR #LeMans

Someone explain to me how a fcking RSQ8 Hybrid SUV smokes a Porsche in a drag race? 😭 Like bro, that Porsche is literally built for this. It’s lower, lighter, has AWD, a ridiculously quick gearbox and all the launch control wizardry you’d expect from Porsche. You’d normally look at an SUV next to it and think the Porsche is about to disappear. I know whoever was driving that Porsche was staring at the RSQ8 like there’s no fucking way.

Porsche 911 GT3, 996. This is what makes it characterful. Manual only, 6 cylinders and a very race car feel. That already tells you everything. Then the engine, 3.6 Mezger flat-six that just wants to rev to 8200 RPM. Loud, mechanical and full of life this car feels raw a lot less than a modern GT3. Lightweight, direct steering and no filters. Compared to the 997, this feels more alive and looks more raw still. The headlights are still controversial and the interior is basic, ride is stiff too, but that’s part of it, you expect a car made for racing to handle comfortably? It’s about driving, racing and that’s what gives it character.

$Italy taxes engines heavily above 2.0 litres. The E30 M3's S14 ran 2.3 litres, making it commercially unviable there. BMW's response was the 320is, sold exclusively in Italy and Portugal, using an S14 de-stroked to exactly 2.0 litres by shortening the crankshaft and replacing the pistons and connecting rods. The 320is produced 192 PS from that 2.0-litre four-cylinder. It shared the M3's dogleg gearbox, limited-slip differential, and the same engine. The block, the head, the redline were all S14. Only the bore and stroke had changed. In Italy and Portugal, buyers received an M3-specification car for the tax cost of a 2.0-litre engine. In club racing, that displacement also opened the 2.0-litre class, where the M3-derived engine ran against machinery with a fraction of its development budget. The 320is never left those two markets, never received the international press the M3 earned. It was an M3 built to satisfy a tax code. That is not a footnote. That is a car worth knowing.$
