A roadrunner chick swallowed more than it could chew!! - Roadrunner chicks inherit a natural resistance to certain snake venoms, allowing them to survive accidental bites from dangerous prey like rattlesnakes. - In harsh desert environments, hunting snakes provides chicks with a vital source of water directly from the... show more

✓ The fastest snake is Africa is the black mamba. ✓ While some venomous snakes can sometimes bite without injecting venoms (known as dry biting), black mamba doesn't do this. Every bite leads to envenomation. ✓ Untreated black mamba bites have a mortality rate of 100%. No treatment = sure death ☠️ 💀 ✓ They're the longest venomous snake in Africa and second longest in the world. Only King cobra is longer than them. ✓ They're not black in colour. The name black mamba comes from the black colouration of the inside of their mouths.

Brody King on FUCK ICE chants in AEW: “People are frustrated, and that’s going to come out in certain ways. I can’t think of a more positive way for it to come out than them chanting it at a wrestling show. I felt like I could run through a wall at that moment.” (interview with Denise 'Hollywood' Salcedo)

A heartfelt request to everyone please keep a bowl of clean water outside your house, balcony, terrace, shop, or street corner for these voiceless souls. Summers are truly harsh, and countless birds, dogs, cats, cows, and other animals suffer silently due to the non-availability of clean drinking water. Many wander for hours under the scorching sun searching for just a few drops to survive. A small step from us can create a significant change in their lives. One simple bowl of water can save a life, bring relief, and become a source of hope for a thirsty soul. Please refill it daily, keep it clean, and place it in a shaded safe spot. Kindness does not always need grand gestures. Sometimes, it begins with a small bowl of water. #AnimalWelfare #dogs

RULE #18 OF THE PRIMAL DIET Drink raw milkshakes. The raw milkshake is a recipe and one of the most important items on the Primal Diet. It reinforces the body, in particular the mucous linings, which are essential to protect bodily tissues from toxin damage. It strengthens parts of the body that other foods cannot, most of the time, as it is the best combination of foods to help the body restore mucus. Mucus protects the mucous membranes in the intestines, kidney, etc. Contrary to certain beliefs, mucus is not toxic. It is part of the body and remains internally. When mucus is expelled, is during detoxification, as a vessel that contains the toxins, but it is not a toxin itself, it protects from them. Toxins can deplete the mucus lining in the body, exposing tissues and organs to damage. This manifests in heartburn, being constantly drained, and other ways. So it is important to reconstitute the mucus layers that buffer those toxins, with milkshakes. Eating raw meat, raw fat, etc., should in theory give everything the body needs to make anything it needs. However, for most people, because of limitations induced by toxicity and long-term deficiencies, it often takes the combination of foods in raw milkshakes to let the body generate the appropriate amounts of mucus. It takes a whole raw egg, raw milk, and extra raw cream (that extra fat is necessary), with a bit of unheated honey to facilitate the digestion of this complex mix. Blend them together. Milkshake recipe with measurements:

During periods of fasting, many people enjoy eating dates as a gentle and natural source of energy. 🌿 But something that is often overlooked is the importance of preparing them properly before eating. Dates are a dried fruit, and along their journey—from harvesting to packaging—they may collect dust or small particles on their surface. For this reason, I like to follow a simple and mindful habit before consuming them: 1️⃣ Soak the dates in water with a little baking soda for about 10–15 minutes 2️⃣ Rinse them well with clean water 3️⃣ Allow them to dry naturally There is also another small habit I find very helpful: I never eat a date without opening it first. I gently split it, remove the pit, and take a moment to check the inside. It only takes a few seconds, but it brings a sense of care, awareness, and peace of mind—something that aligns beautifully with the spirit of fasting. 🌿

1. Dr. René Peoc'h built a robot that turned randomly left and right, completely at random as it moved through an arena. As a control, he recorded its path with no chicks present. It covered the arena evenly. Exactly as probability predicted. Then he introduced newly hatched chicks who had imprinted on the robot as their mother. He put them in a cage on one side of the arena. They could see the robot. They couldn't move toward it. 2. What happened defied physics. The robot still moving completely at random, with no modifications began spending the majority of its time in the half of the arena closest to the chicks. The sheer intention of the baby chicks wanting to be near what they believed was their mother, influenced the movement of a computerized machine. The study was published. Peer-reviewed. Replicated. 3. This is not mysticism. This is quantum mechanics. At the subatomic level, matter does not exist as a fixed thing. Electrons exist as waves of possibility infinite potential until they are observed. The moment a conscious observer focuses attention on a quantum possibility, it collapses from energy into matter. This is called collapsing the wave function. It is not metaphor. It is the foundation of quantum physics. 4. What Dr. Joe Dispenza's research shows: When a person enters a genuine state of elevated emotion: gratitude, joy, love while holding a clear intention for their future, they change their electromagnetic signature. When that signature matches the frequency of a potential that already exists in the quantum field. The experience finds them. Without effort. Without forcing. His son. A student who won a lottery ticket. Tumors that disappeared. New jobs that arrived without applications. Thousands of documented cases. 5. You are not separate from what you want to create. You are the antenna. And what you broadcast through the quality of your thoughts and the elevation of your emotions is what reality responds to. The chicks didn't move toward the robot. The robot moved toward them.

At the age of thirteen, in the late 1940s, Thomas Fogarty, newly bereft of his father, found himself employed at Cincinnati’s Good Samaritan Hospital, sorting supplies and learning the rhythms of the place from the ground up. With time and a certain doggedness, he moved from the stockroom to the operating room, working his way up to the role of scrub technician, where he stood at the surgeon’s elbow, handing over instruments. Back then, the approach to removing blood clots from an artery was crude and perilous. It was a bit like a ritual sacrifice—that involved slicing the artery wide open in a procedure that could easily stretch over nine hours and leave the patient with incisions from the abdomen down both legs. The outcome, more often than not, was dismal. Many didn’t survive, many others ended up with amputations. It was during those hours at the operating table, observing the struggle of clot removal, that Fogarty began to wonder if there might be a way to make the process a bit less medieval. He retreated to his garage with little more than a length of tubing, a surgical glove, and an idea. There, he crafted a tool so simple that it verged on the audacious. He started with a urethral catheter, flexible yet sturdy enough to navigate through a clot. To the end of the catheter, he attached a tiny balloon made from the finger of a latex glove. Once past the clot, the balloon could be inflated with saline from the other end of the tube, expanding it to the width of the artery and then pulled back—bringing the clot along with it. The device was so simple, so staggeringly clever, that when he demonstrated its use, the surgeons were equal parts gobsmacked and irritated. With it, clot removal (embolectomy) was no longer a barbaric ritual but a neat, almost gentlemanly procedure. Like removing a cork from a bottle. Thomas Fogarty went on to become a cardiovascular surgeon. That little embolectomy catheter he dreamt up became the very first minimally invasive surgical device. Here’s a video showing how it’s done: through a small incision in the groin, under local anesthesia.

Venus is a very dangerous planet—going there is like playing a video game on “Hell Mode.” In the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviet Union sent robotic probes called Venera to explore it. The probes survived on the surface for less than an hour because the pressure was 90 times stronger than Earth and the temperature was hot enough to melt metal. But even in their final moments, while they were overheating and breaking apart, they still managed to take the only real photos ever captured from Venus’s surface. Photos from a place no human could ever survive.

Crypto's First Quantum Hack May Leave No Clues Behind Christopher Smith, CEO of Quantus Network, says the first quantum computing attack on crypto could look like an unexplained wallet breach. Smith said a powerful enough quantum computer could derive private keys from public data without touching a wallet or device directly. He said a quantum attacker targeting crypto would likely go after Tether's minting key rather than Satoshi Nakamoto's dormant Bitcoin. An attacker could mint tokens from an administrative wallet and dump them before Tether could respond. Sean Cheetham of Blockchain Capital said attackers would more likely target exchange hot wallets quietly rather than steal Satoshi's coins. Google accelerated its post quantum migration timeline to 2029 in March. The move followed an AI assisted breakthrough showing elliptic curve cryptography could be broken with far fewer qubits than previously forecast. Source: Cointelegraph

BREAKING NEWS FROM CBD !!! I am just wondering who is the owner of this snake that was killed yesterday evening around 7:00 pm in the CBD near Kencom by our “Chambes,” the street boys? This is not a small lizard from ushago, my people. This is a proper snake. Now the big question is: how do you tame an animal this big and KWS does not know about it? Or are we now keeping snakes in bedsitters like pets? First, my condolences to the owner loss is loss. But again, why keep such a reptile in the middle of CBD? Ama ndio ilikuwa inachunga biashara ? If anyone knows the owner of this snake, kindly let us know so that we can visit his premises and confirm how many more snakes are still remaining. Nairobi residents deserve to know whether we are sharing the city with humans only or humans and reptiles. Anyway help me locate the owner!

A sorrowful day waking up early this morning to learn that the regime hanged her 34-year-old brother, Reza Rasaei, for the crime of protesting the murder of another young girl #MahsaAmini who lost her life at the hands of the morality police for not covering her hair. It feels like a scene from a terrifying movie, yet this is the harsh reality for Iranians living under a brutal regime. The government didn’t even allow them to hold him one last time. Instead, they were told, “You cannot bury the body in any cemetery. Take it to a remote desert.” All I hear from those who have lost their loved ones is a chorus of defiance, shouting that they will never give up their fight until the day they rid themselves of the Islamic Republic 💔

Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce. With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.

Sibling rivalry is alive and well, especially among Sandhill cranes. And nothing beats the classic silent stare from a disapproving parent. These young cranes are always sparring, but this little altercation cracked me up. The chick coming in from the right looked genuinely excited to see its older sibling, but the one coming in from the left clearly had other plans… like total domination. Watch the foot stomps. They are ridiculously cute. And if you look closely, you will see a tiny swat with that little nub of a wing. Pure drama. Everything was going perfectly until the adult caught sight of it. That is when the universal silent stare worked its magic. Instant transformation. Both chicks suddenly became innocent little angels. Classic.

This video takes you inside the Galaxy Z Fold8's inner display. The biggest change this year isn't just the crease. It's the overall feel of the display. It looks remarkably similar to a tablet, with the appearance of a rigid panel rather than a flexible one. On many foldables, even the areas away from the crease still show subtle ripples and unevenness, giving away the flexible nature of the screen under certain lighting. The Galaxy Z Fold8 is different. Its entire inner display is exceptionally flat. Once unfolded, it looks and feels much closer to a traditional rigid display than a flexible panel. This is likely thanks to Samsung doubling the thickness of the UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) and reinforcing the display with a titanium support plate. The thicker UTG improves overall rigidity, while the titanium layer provides stronger structural support, resulting in a noticeably flatter display with a more premium, tablet-like viewing experience.

It’s Saturday morning so going to unabashedly crowdsource. If any of the much smarter than me homeowners out there can listen to this sound, it’s coming from our attic periodically and sounds like a man with a leaf blower is just hanging out up there. No AC/Heat is on. It’s in a pretty inaccessible part of the attic. Local to this area of the home. Completely confused as to what it could be. Sounds like a pump or motor.
