Nereida Benitez was driving to her Temecula home from her overnight shift as an ER nurse at San Diego’s Sharp Memorial Hospital when she stopped to help out a car crash. Chad Tillman, a veteran, also stopped to help with the crash, and as Tillman and Benitez were standing on the driver's side of the crashed car, another vehicle struck the car.
