ALERT: 70-year-old woman drove her car onto elevated train tracks after she was “just following the GPS.” The 70-year-old woman in Seattle, Washington, says she was following her GPS when it led her onto the train tracks. Sound Transit says it shut off power to the tracks during the suspension of services caused by the incident. Witnesses say they tried to stop the woman, but she ignored them and proceeded onto the tracks. Authorities successfully used a machine called a swing loader to remove the car from the train tracks. Seattle Fire said the woman was able to exit the car on her own and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

During this time, the woman asked the police officer to show his identification card. While returning the ID card to the officer, it accidentally slipped from her hand and fell on the ground. Following this, the police officer slapped the woman. As seen in the video, the officer later attempted to hit her with a baton but was stopped by other police personnel present at the scene. The woman later went to the police station to file a complaint; however, no FIR was registered based on her complaint. Instead, an FIR was registered against the woman for allegedly driving without a licence.

The woman had her receipt on hand but the door receipt checker insisted on checking the man’s backpack instead, they refused and walked right by. As they walked by, the receipt checker yells “she hit me!” Costco employees then swarm the woman and her husband and she calls the police because she didn’t feel comfortable being surrounded by hostility.
