GRIEF SUCKS. & grief is the sneakiest mf known to mankind. You could be just buying m&m’s in a convenience store & on your way to the car…. BAAAAAM. Grief got your ass by the neck & you are crying at a gas pump. & then it’s gone. As quickly as it came.

Never apologize for being vulnerable. Holding in our emotions is exactly what’s causing so many men to struggle with their health and other areas of life. We were never created to do life alone. It takes a community, and there’s strength in allowing people to be there for you

This is such a great way to grieve. I'm glad you have a brother figure in your corner and have each other's back. As men we have to learn how to be vulnerable emotionally when grieving for a love one . It releases that pain and allows you to be human at the same time. And yeah FX's the drop is starting off great lol!

My mom passed on 8/12/26. We made her funeral arrangements on 8/17/26. I immediately texted my homegirl cuz she wanted to hop on a plane the day it happened! She literally flew out from San Diego to Baltimore for the viewing and the funeral and we went brunch the Sunday

My best friend showed up with a bottle of bourbon after leaving her birthday dinner hours after my mama died. And when I was having a hard time, she drove to meet me halfway (we live about 3 hours apart) just to have lunch.
