The Dronut X1 is a bi-rotor ducted drone powered by Cleo Robotics' patented thrust vectoring #technology. With no exposed propellers and a compact design that can fit in the palm of your hand, the Dronut can safely fly where no other drone has flown before. #drone #engineering

🚨 THIS IS A FALCON 9 LANDING TEST - IN A LIVING ROOM. What you're watching is a custom EDF rocket. No propellant - a 90mm ducted fan inside a duct pushes mass downward, same physics as a rocket engine, just electric. 70mm fan on 7S makes 8kg+ thrust - thrust > weight = hover. Uses thrust-vectoring + PID like a real lunar lander. DIY VTVL for $250. 🛸🚀

🚨 THIS DRONE SWAPS NORMAL PROPS FOR 3D-PRINTED DUCTED FANS. Those swirling white shrouds enclose the blades completely. Ducted designs cut tip vortices, boost low-speed thrust, and make the whole craft quieter and safer. Experimental aerodynamics you can actually fly.

The F-22 Raptor is widely regarded as the most advanced air superiority fighter ever built, and its thrust vectoring is a huge part of what makes it so insanely dominant. The F-22's two Pratt & Whitney F119 engines have 2D thrust-vectoring nozzles that can pivot up and down by about ±20 degrees. This lets the pilot redirect the engine thrust almost instantly. The F-22’s thrust vectoring turns an already stealthy, fast, and powerful fighter into a maneuvering monster that can do things no other operational fighter can match in close combat. That’s why it’s widely regarded as the greatest air superiority fighter in history.

pretty sure we jumped higher than the aircraft how it works: - flies like a plane but has no wings - edfs blow directly over a jetfoil to generate lift (coanda effect) - can hover in place in the air - uses thrust vectoring for drone-like maneuverability while keeping cruise efficiency flew for 3 seconds, cut throttle, hit the floor, 10/10 day

Meet Russias Su-57 multi role 5th Gen fighter, it has a unique 360-degree thrust vectoring engine that makes it look almost alive in flight. Its "evolving" constantly and has numerous unrivalled technologies. Magnificent.
