Our family's unbroken tradition- Flying Kites on Sankranthi. Our family, friends & relatives all gather in Basheerbagh and fly kites. It is absolute fun to fly there. We take the sport seriously, there are unwritten rules & it is serious fun. 2nd video is me cutting rival kite after a prolonged aerial battle. The kite I am flying is a Yellow "Dho Langot" kite. The technique I used is called "goth mar kay, keench kaat" if you can see my yellow "dho langot" kite tales a deep dive (at 0:31) and shoots up straight under the rival kite cutting it.
