KOSPI went from 3,033 to 9,386 and back into a bear market inside eleven months. Seven circuit breaker halts so far this year, surpassing 2008. The memory shortage is real in the short to medium term, Samsung $SSNLF and SK Hynix $SKHY sit at the center of it, and the index may well run again from here. But a country index that triples on one industry's capex is not a stock market anymore. It is a single trade with a country attached :)

If you are buying $DRAM or $EWY … You should know that buying Samsung & SK Hynix come with geopolitical risk… for example that the Samsung & South Korean Labor Union failing to reach a deal… If Micron $MU does it the best… then why buy Samsung & SK Hynix is a take I do agree with… but there is also high upside in those names… If Amazon $AMZN does it the best… why buy Alibaba?

But the most crowded part of the market keeps going higher anyway. We have seen this before. Markets ignore obvious risk and hide in the same trade now. This will have only a violent ending. Ask yourself: Does this feel like a bubble?
