Please do not fall for this scam - IV Vitamin therapy. It is more of an "elitist" thing to do, rather than actual scientific recommendation. IV Vitamin therapy is not only useless, but expensive and potentially dangerous. There is no scientific evidence to back the claims of IV Vitamin therapy - if you are lucky, it results in only making expensive urine. The claims in this video are pure unadulterated bullshit. IV Vitamin therapy hydrates - consuming water also hydrates. A person requires IV hydration if oral hydration is not possible in the event of severe illness that incapacitates them from oral intake - such as severe vomiting and diarrhea, hypovolemic shock, a brain disease or other serious acute or chronic disabling illness. IV Vitamin therapy does not boost immunity - in fact, all the vitamins that are pumped into your body feels like they've visited a water theme park and came out in the urine as they entered. It is just a ticketed roller-coaster ride for the vitamins. The whole aspect of "boosting immunity" is a wellness marketing fraud aimed at making peoples wallets lighter and bank balance redundant. IV Vitamin therapy flushes out toxins - no they don't. Your skin, lung, liver and kidneys are working 24x7 doing just that. Putting additional vitamins and fluids into your body through an IV drip only makes them overwork for nothing. IV Vitamin therapy does not guarantee vitamin absorption. In fact, there is a limit for the body to absorb vitamins and minerals which is already going in as part of the daily diet. Anything additional given, just makes the body throw it out in the urine - which means IV drip therapies only makes your body work additionally to make expensive pee. IV Vitamin therapy does not improve skin health. It causes transient hydration which you pee out later on and "skin health" is dependent on multiple factors, all of which is not covered by a useless IV drip. The most common "cocktail" used is the Myer's Drip discovered in the 1970s (!!!) which was proven to be useless in decades old study - and not further studies on safety or effectiveness have been conducted. People who experience "benefits or improvement" from IV Vitamin therapy feel so because of a psychological reinforcement and confirmation bias and a self consolation prize because they spend huge sums of money to make expensive pee. Not to forget, supermodel Kendall Jenner had to be admitted to the hospital after she developed a severe reaction to IV drip therapy - Read: Kendall Jenner Was Hospitalized After a Bad Reaction to a Vitamin IV Drip — What are the Risks? - Isn't IV Vitamin therapy so cool? No it is not. It only makes the person taking it look like an apparently rich dunce. dunce /dʌns/ noun a person who is slow at learning; a stupid person. Dr. Sabine Hazan has uncovered a stunning link between high-dose Vitamin C and gut microbiome health. While treating patients and protecting herself with megadoses of Vitamin C, Dr. Hazan’s routine stool sample analysis revealed something extraordinary: her bifidobacteria levels—a key marker of gut health—had skyrocketed fourfold! Her scientist colleague urged her to investigate further. Without hesitation, Dr. Hazan pivoted her research, collaborating with naturopaths to collect and analyze stool samples from patients before and after Vitamin C supplementation. The results? Across 20-25 samples, high-dose Vitamin C consistently boosted bifidobacteria levels. This wasn’t just a fluke—it was a game-changer. Dr. Hazan’s team published a peer-reviewed paper confirming that Vitamin C increases bifidobacteria not only in patients but also in vitro. This discovery could reshape how we approach gut health, immunity, and even chronic disease prevention. Why does this matter? Bifidobacteria are powerhouse probiotics linked to stronger immunity, better digestion, and reduced inflammation. Dr. Hazan’s work suggests that a simple, accessible nutrient like Vitamin C could be a key to unlocking a healthier microbiome—especially in high-risk or severe illness cases. This is science in action: bold, curious, and transformative. Kudos to Dr. Hazan for following the data and challenging conventional wisdom. Let’s keep pushing for research that empowers health naturally!
