Seedance 2.5 First Test Something feels a little off but I'm not entirely sure what it is. Seedance 2.0 wasn't like this. It seems to morph a bit during fast action scenes. My first test of Seedance 2.5! ❤️‍🔥 conclusions: Resolution and realistic quality have improved significantly. The sound is clean and cinematic. Using a 30-second duration is risky. When you ask for many specific elements within 30 seconds, you increase the likelihood of errors. I used a prompt with eight references, and it couldn't capture all eight references within the 30-second timeframe. I created it with CapCut Main prompt in the comments.

Sora 2 automatically adds music, which instantly makes the video feel polished. But Seedance 2.0 handles shot breakdown and pacing better, it feels more like a professionally edited sequence.

Finally got our hands on Seedance 2.0 (through YouArt) and ran it head-to-head with Kling AI 3.0. Here’s what stood out: Seedance 2.0’s physics feel stronger right away. The movement just looks more natural and realistic, especially in bigger physical actions. It also handles continuity across multiple shots from a single prompt better than I expected, which makes scene building a lot easier. And on the audio side, the lip sync generally holds up better than Kling. But here’s the tradeoff: Both models struggle with fine details. Background faces and smaller elements still get a bit messy. Seedance currently outputs at 720p, while Kling 3.0 supports 1080p, so Kling has the edge in overall sharpness. Even with upscaling, Seedance doesn’t fully recover those tiny details. I put Seedance 2.0 in native 4k to the test and.... wow. Every water droplet, every blade of grass, every strand of hair has perfect detail. I usually generate in 720p and assumed the increase in resolution wouldn't be that noticeable but have been blown away by: -Increased prompt adherence -Improved motion interpolation (no intra-frame artifacts) -Complex camera moves -Cinematic colour grading A personal favourite is the handheld vlog style camera movement seen in this clip. It's almost impossible to do with traditional stop-motion filmmaking. I think this Is where AI shines best - where it allows you to do things you just couldn't do with traditional techniques.
