This is one of my absolute favorite scenes in One Piece, and it’s part of why I tell people that Fishman Island is about the story not the action

Any black person from America who knows their history really felt this arc. The people who claim this was the worst arc are people or privilege.

I got a million complaints with this arc but this is like a top 5 scene for me

IKIK THIS SEQUENCE IS THE BEST PART OF THE ARC FOR ME THE MESSAGE AND THE CALLBACKS TO EVERYONES FAVORITE OTHER FISHMAN RELATED ARC [[Arlong Park]]

It really shows how Jinbei took his ol' leader/friend´s last words to heart. Fisher Tiger couldn´t accept human blood to be saved, and Jinbei shared his own blood to save a human.
