A Nurse asked me what I thought about Immigrants working in the NHS. I explained that skilled immigration works, but the system is HEAVILY abused. I pointed out that many migrants on H-1b visas in America (a skilled migrant visa) were caught working MINIMUM WAGE jobs in TACO BELL and 711. Skilled immigration is a minority of the total immigration the UK is currently seeing.

After Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1990, which launched the H-1B visa program, AIG would use it to replace their American workers 5 years later. Dan Rather even did a segment on this. A dishonest tactic is to highlight a few outliers (some of whom didn’t even use the H-1B program) and claim they are representative of the entire program.
