It always surprises me when you see these early 90s crowds. Everyone is fired up and dancing aggressively. I don’t think it’s an age thing, even younger crowds are more passive these days

TOP 10 MOMENTS OF PHISH 2024 🧵: It was a banner year for the Phish from Vermont! In the 41st year of their career there isn't much left for the band to accomplish, but somehow they keep finding new frontiers and blazing them. How do you follow this!?

The Sphere sent that Hood peak into orbit. Night one of the run was everything we hoped for and then some. One down and a whole lot of magic still to come. #AlwaysOnTour #Phish #HarryHood #TheSphere #PhishSphere

It is the one year anniversary of the Mondegreen Secret Set. I give myself a year to get over recency bias before making sweeping proclamations and it's been a year so: The Mondegreen Secret Set is one of the greatest Phish jams ever played.

At Boston’s Fenway Park last night, Phish covered “Melt The Guns,” a deep cut from XTC’s ‘English Settlement.’ The last time they’d performed it was 2,051 shows prior, on April 29, 1987, so it’s the biggest bustout (a song returning to the setlist after a long absence) in Phish history. It shatters a record the band set just last week when they covered Foreigner’s “Cold As Ice” at NYC’s Madison Square Garden — after a gap of 1,469 shows.

Oh man, I had no idea Kenny Rogers sang “The Gambler” with Phish! This was at Bonnaroo in 2012. In interviews, Kenny said Phish came to his dressing room and asked if he would join them onstage for a song, and he said yes. Kenny said Phish was one of those groups he had heard of but didn’t really know, and that it wasn’t until then that he realized how big they were. Kenny had performed his own set earlier that afternoon in one of Bonnaroo’s large tents. Later that night, he joined Phish on the main stage to sing in front of 70,000 people.. Kenny said the last time he had performed for a crowd that big was probably in the mid 80s. So great.

Before Google. Before YouTube walkthroughs. Before Reddit threads... You called Nintendo. A real human picked up, and told you where to go and what to do. That's it. That was the tech support. That was the entire internet. Those were the days. What game did you actually call about?
