A two-tier PIP and UC system will generate hardship for many and create societal divisions. I asked the Secretary of State to withdraw this bill and co-design welfare reform with disabled people's groups. #TakingThePIP #WelfareBill

What they want to do has NOTHING to do with employment, she totally ignored what you asked.

3 tiers now……

I don't know how you keep a cool head. I am usually pretty mild mannered and polite but I've completely lost my head over this. It's utterly abhorrent. You are one of the good ones here, Andy. You are on the right side of this.

It makes no sense to me that she stated she didn't need to listen to charities and disability groups... but that she is listening to MPs .. that makes no sense x

Thank you. Why doesn’t Liz grasp the purpose of PIP. It is both an in work & out of work benefit to pay for the extra costs that Disabled People face on top of normal living costs. Without it most would not be able to work as it helps pay for help with getting up, washed etc.

Thanks for trying I dunno how she can say all that. It’s clear she despises disabled people and only sees them as having value when they’re working (and only then, only when they don’t need support to do so)

This bill is all about Kendall helping Reeves out with what they thought were easy targets. #TakingThePIP

Even just putting the inhumanity to one side - if you even can - this is just fundamentally bad politics. You p*ss off your own supporter base to try and win support from people disinclined to vote for you regardless. This is Truss level stupidity.

Continuation of the Tory poverty creation program. The created poverty will be permanent.
