Olympic officials had told the athlete, Vladyslav Heraskevych, that the helmet violated the Games’ prohibition on political speech. According to them, the National Olympic Committee is "in good standing and complies with the Olympic Charter." Comment from me: Belarus also complies with Russia and is an accomplice in Russia's war against Ukraine.
