In the last one year, floods in Assam, unprecedented rains and subsequent landslides in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kerala, different parts of our country have unfortunately been hit by natural calamities. While the brave personnel of NDRF India I राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल 🇮🇳, #SDRF supported by other local and central forces worked round the clock to ensure relief and rescue, not many people notice the work in the background that our Oil Companies do on a war footing like #GoodCorporateCitizens to ensure all possible support. ATF supplies were rushed to the forward helipads from places as far as Dehradun, Saraswa and Mohali as stranded locals and tourists had to be rescued and evacuated from hilly areas of Uttarakhand by air due to landslides on the roads. A 24*7 war room was set up Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG staffed by senior officials and our Oil Marketing Companies lead by Indian Oil Corp Ltd to ensure that affected people reached their destinations as quickly as possible. We deployed indigenous & modern military technologies to strike deep into Pakistan’s territory and eliminated key terror training infrastructure. We also demonstrated seamless working of our Integrated Air Command And Control System, reflecting preparedness of our forces to defend our Nation against incoming missiles. As Late Gen. MAJOR TERROR PLOT FOILED: PAKISTANI SECURITY FORCES SMASH FAH's So-called QAHAR DRONE FORCE, PREVENT LARGE-SCALE ATTACK IN KHARAN A major terrorist plot was successfully foiled after security forces launched a decisive counterterrorism operation against Terrorists of the (BLA) in the Killi Sarawan area along the strategic Kharan–Basima Road. Nearly 30 to 35 heavily armed Ts, including members of the BLA's so-called drone unit, infiltrated the area with plans to establish illegal checkpoints, terrorize local communities, extort civilians, and execute a large-scale terrorist attack. The Ts used mosque loudspeakers to announce their presence and attempted to intimidate residents by claiming they would maintain control of the area for several days. Acting on credible intelligence, Security forces launched a precision operation supported by advanced surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. The terrorists were tracked and engaged before they could carry out their planned attacks. At first light, security forces moved in with a carefully coordinated strategy while ensuring the safety of civilians. Facing intense pressure, the terrorists abandoned their positions and retreated into a nearby school building, from where they opened fire on advancing troops. Security forces swiftly surrounded the location and carried out a clearance operation, killing four terrorists and injuring at least six others. The operation dealt a significant blow to the BLA's operational network. In their hasty retreat, the terrorists abandoned weapons, equipment, and personal belongings, underscoring the scale of their defeat. Security forces recovered a substantial cache of weapons and terrorist equipment, including: • Six motorcycles used for mobility and logistics • Three quadcopter drones intended for terrorist operations • Three drone-launched rockets • Fourteen rockets ready for use • Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which were safely defused by bomb disposal teams The recovered drones and munitions were intended for use in future attacks, highlighting the growing threat posed by terrorist groups seeking to employ drone technology for destructive purposes. The successful operation not only dismantled a key terrorist cell but also neutralized a significant drone-based threat, preventing what could have been a major terrorist attack against civilian and security targets. Today, we once again commend our warriors for their precision—specifically on enemy territory. This is what fundamentally changes the situation—our ability to bring the war back home to Russia. Another arsenal in Russia has been hit, and it was a significant one for the occupiers. I am grateful to all our warriors in the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine who were involved. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and everyone else who took part—great job. There’s also commendable work by the Security Service of Ukraine on yet another Russian military depot. This one held Russian tactical missiles and guided bombs—all the tools Russia uses to terrorize our cities and positions. We are achieving this thanks to our capabilities and our weapons—without the means our partners can provide, which could significantly accelerate the end of this war by destroying Russia’s offensive potential. Today, we once again commend our warriors for their precision—specifically on enemy territory. This is what fundamentally changes the situation—our ability to bring the war back home to Russia. Another arsenal in Russia has been hit, and it was a significant one for the occupiers. I am grateful to all our warriors in the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine who were involved. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and everyone else who took part—great job. There’s also commendable work by the Security Service of Ukraine on yet another Russian military depot. This one held Russian tactical missiles and guided bombs—all the tools Russia uses to terrorize our cities and positions. We are achieving this thanks to our capabilities and our weapons—without the means our partners can provide, which could significantly accelerate the end of this war by destroying Russia’s offensive potential. I have always been a fan of Tucker Carlson because he's always stood on the side of 'no more dumb wars' and has been outspoken - even pushing back on President Trump on occassion. But in this stmt here, he effectively *agrees* with those advocating war with Iran by claiming that reports of Israel threatening to use nuclear weapons against Iran should *force* the US to join alongside Israel in a conventional attack leading to regime change. Tucker argues we would "have no choice" but to "shape" the conditions by fighting alongside Israel against Iran. But I argue there are DEFINITELY other options for the United States. In fact, fighting a conventional war that is against our national interest should never be conducted, and we should never be coerced into fighting a war desired by even a close ally when doing so is antethetical to our security (as this proposed attack most assuredly is).
