@GriftReport Eight years for a life taken on a bench? That’s a lifetime too short for justice

@GriftReport So the driver was licensed, insured and not under the influence of any substance. A genuine accident. 8 years is fking madness for an accident. His crime was being a shade of white. Muggings, child rape, pedos, stabbings mostly a slap on the wrist.

@GriftReport @TheGriftReport 8 years? Some sort of joke surely? What justice is that… he literally mowed her down whilst she sat on a bench… Who’s in charge of the CPS and who is the judge? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤬

@GriftReport The accelerator and brake peddles are the same as any other vehicle. He’s just a fucking idiot.

@GriftReport We are all just moments away from 8 years in jail. Anyone can make a mistake. This should have been careless driving instead. Anyone out driving today could easily end up in a cell until 2034.

@GriftReport @TheGriftReport Unless you’re an evil monster, it must be absolutely devastating to accidentally kill someone. You will have to live with what you’ve done for the rest of your life. RIP to the young girl.

@GriftReport What’s the van being electric have to do with it? Accelerator and brakes still work exactly the same.

On March 18, 2025, Jackson was collecting an electric Ford Transit van he had never driven before from Bush House near King's College London on the Strand. He crashed into iron gates at speed, tearing them off their hinges and striking two fellow students Irem Yoldas, 28, and Yamin Belmessous, 24 causing life-changing injuries. The van then mounted a flower bed, became briefly airborne, and struck 20-year-old Aalia Mahomed on her bench; she died instantly at the scene. Victim's Story:- Aalia, from Mitcham south London, was crushing her second-year physics and philosophy degree at KCL, eyeing a future in engineering. Her mom called her "the most amazing daughter," and the uni honored her with a posthumous degree plans for a Japan cherry blossom trip with her brother cut short forever. Court Facts:- Jackson pled guilty back in February to causing death by dangerous driving plus two serious injury counts no booze, drugs, or crazy speed involved, per his defense, but forensics pinned it on unintended acceleration worsened by panic in an unfamiliar EV. Met Police confirmed no mechanical faults with the van.

@GriftReport The person who killed my uncle by pulling out in front of his motorbike at 30mph got a £700 fine and 9 points ! He also has an issue that meant he should have surrendered his license.

Hang on, why is this cut and dry, and why the “never drove an electric vehicle before” The girls death is tragic, but something smells fishy to me about the cause. The only van I’ve ever seen fly through the air;, had BA Baracus in the back stating “I ain’t getting no plane” This fella might have been wearing orthopedic shoes, but the chance he couldn’t have rammed the breaks on, was implausable as Murdoch drugging BA for his flight……..

@GriftReport If it was a Muslim driver and white student, the driver would’ve gotten 8 months probation.

@GriftReport No comment should automatically mean guilty on that question if refuse to give an answer. He should be given life looked totally disinterested and doesn't care.

@GriftReport Don’t say “jailed for” say “sentenced to” . Under 2026 standard determinate sentences for serious violent and sexual offences you only serve 50% (prev 2/3) of ur time in jail. The rest out on licence so incorrect to imply he will spend 8 years in jail.

@GriftReport Think the point is if he'd never driven one before he should've learned how to operate it prior to getting behind the wheel and trying to drive it at all.

Nigerian man Sentenced To 6 Years in jail After Falling Asleep While Driving And Causing Man’s De@th In The UK A 45-year-old Nigerian-British taxi driver, Kolawole Erunkulu, has been sentenced to six years in prison after falling asleep while driving and causing the de@th of 59-year-old Philip Dray in Surrey, UK. Shortly before 6:30am on August 17, 2025, an Audi driven by Erunkulu swerved across the A23 in Merstham and struck Philip, who had safely parked his Volkswagen in a layby and was opening the driver’s door to get back inside. Philip died at the scene. Erunkulu pleaded guilty to causing de@th by d@ngerous driving. Footage from his vehicle and data from his employers showed that he had driven for around 53 hours over the three days before the crash. His longest rest was seven hours, while other breaks lasted around four hours and two hours. Immediately before the collision, he had worked for about 12 hours with only minor breaks. The car’s interior camera captured Erunkulu falling into “microsleep”, a brief episode of sleep lasting seconds. During one episode, his vehicle veered across the carriageway and struck Philip before continuing for another 10 seconds and stopping at the next layby. Erunkulu was charged in March 2026 and pleaded guilty in June. On August 25, 2026, Guildford Crown Court sentenced him to six years for causing de@th by d@ngerous driving. Had he been convicted after a trial, he would have received nine years. He was also disqualified from driving for eight years and will face an extended retest if he reapplies for his licence. Her Honour Judge Lees said the footage showed Erunkulu was “extremely tired” and had continued driving despite knowing that. She said the incident could have been prevented if he had slept.
