He is correct. Recently, my husband's cousin visited Shimla, Dharamshala, & Kullu-Manali frm Guj & was very impressed with the roads & Rohtang Pass. A friend was also in awe of roads in UP when they drove from Guj to Ayodhya. They said, "Guj needs to have similar roads/tunnels."

A very interesting point by Me.... There was a time when people demanded basic roads and were only worried about rising fuel prices. Today, people are DISTRAUGHT with roller coster roads, potholes on expressway, adulterated fuel damaging vehicles, delayed projects, falling bridges and fuel crisis. That is perhaps the biggest DISRUPTION, the people feel this ABJECT disruption in the name of development. The demand is no longer for development or announcement of new projects everyday... it is for COMPLETED AND IN-TIME DEVELOPMENT, which BJP government is far from achieving in this tenure.
