If the railway employee gives you a receipt for your fine, It means that it is legally binding now, In a normal case, you pay him in cash, you never have any problem with that, but if he takes the same money via UPI, you are jumping up and down, UPI transactions carry a solid digital trail, you can be rest assured, that the money you paid will be deposited by him in the railways, This tweet was a waste of time,

When TTE is issuing ticket and collecting cash, that's fine? Taking the payment on personal UPI is a facility that TTE is extending to such passengers, so it's as good as collecting cash. Why it's a problem as far as he is issuing a ticket?

Even if the payment had been made in cash, he would first have put the money in his pocket. Once he had issued the ticket, he was obliged to deposit the fare with the Railways. The mere fact that the amount was received in his personal UPI account does not, by itself, indicate fraud.

Dear , somewhere I realised 'corruption is the oil of the system '. This is not the TTE who was asking for the seat...it was 'we' who are traveling without ticket and expecting to manage under the table.

Taking cash from passengers against on spot ticket sale and taking the money in personal UPI is one and same thing. Cash can be also kept with himself by TT and not deposited at railway office!! What is strange here? Amazon guy also takes cash on delivery on his mobile UPI.

At the end of the day, they have to deposite the amount to Railway as per the Challan. Whatever may be the mode of payment... Only thing u can do is just go to any Railway Office & verify whether the Challan given to u is original or duplicate. If it is original, then no issue.

रेलवे में या तो पूरा कैश या पूरा ऑनलाइन लेता है सिस्टम, तो अगर किसी के पास थोड़ा कैश थोड़ा ऑनलाइन हो तो, बिना किसी सबूत के टीटी को बदनाम न करे।

how railway will know who & why some amount credited to it? Note, the ticket was issued by paperwork not online. The TT has to reconcile his tickets book with cash. faltu mei jyada dimaag mat lga.

Whatever the mode is, if you're provided with an EFT, there ends the matter for you; ofc, then comes the question of genuinity of the receipt books, which is a different matter altogether.

inside the train unauthorised vendors selling the peanuts and passengers purchases and throwing the shells inside the train looks very dirty. I informed this to TT on the spot and the response was very poor and followed him I came to know that he is taking the bride Rs 1000/-
