Despite being one of the busiest railway hubs in North Bihar, passengers continue to face severe overcrowding, especially on routes to Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab, and other destinations. She refused to return the correct change, threatened to call the Railway Protection Force, and ultimately did not issue the ticket. This amounts to clear harassment and fraud against passengers. Such misconduct must not be tolerated. The concerned employee should be immediately suspended and a proper investigation should be initiated.

A viral video from an Indian Railways train has sparked a heated debate online. In the video, a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) can be seen arguing with a Nihang Sikh passenger who was reportedly traveling in a 3rd AC coach without a valid ticket. When confronted, the Nihang Sikh admitted that he did not have a ticket. The TTE questioned how he could travel in an AC coach without a ticket, to which the passenger responded affirmatively, saying he could travel anywhere. The TTE reminded him that Khalsa is known for its reputation and dignity, and accused the passenger of speaking disrespectfully. The passenger replied that he only spoke in such a way after the TTE said he would “show him his status.” The Nihang Sikh further claimed that all train coaches belonged to the Khalsa, asserting that he and others could travel anywhere they wished. At this point, the person recording the video intervened, pointing out that the coaches belong to the government, not the Khalsa. The passenger insisted otherwise, saying, “It belongs to Khalsa. It’s our government.” As the situation escalated, the TTE was forced to call the police. A policeman soon arrived and was seen explaining the matter to the passenger. It remains unverified whether the man later purchased a ticket or paid a fine

#WATCH | A passenger was forced to give a watch to a samosa seller after his UPI payment failed while his train was departing from Jabalpur. West Central Railway CPRO Harshit Srivastava says, "The incident occurred on the evening of 17th October. At Jabalpur station, a vendor snatched the watch of a passenger after he made a purchase from him. Taking quick action, the Railway Administration identified the vendor and he was arrested under Railway Act and a case was registered. The license under which he worked is being cancelled. The vendor has been identified as Sandeep Gupta."

Ask for ₹ 20,000 Bribe, Gets 20 Slipper Shots!!! An overcrowded RTC bus from Hyderabad to Narayankhed was stopped by Ticket Squad at Rayikode, Telangana for inspection. A passenger was found without a ticket and instead of imposing a fine of the usual Rs 500, the ticket inspector apparently demanded a bribe of Rs 20,000 from the passenger and the conductor…,so that they avoid a case. Agitated by this, the passengers beat-up the ticket inspector with chappals, the RTC bus conductor also joined them. Most RTC buses are overcrowded and the staff overworked. Not issuing a Rs 10 ticket to one passenger probably was due to the rush. While I don’t agree with this mob behaviour of beating a man, I can totally 100 percent agree with the anger of the public. Working class public are absolutely tired of the system that fleeces them at every step 🙏🏽

After landing in Lucknow, CISF personnel ,acting on complaints from the flight crew deboarded the passenger, his wife, and their 3-year-old child and made them sit at the police station. The passenger claims he had booked a Business Class ticket but was made to travel in Economy. Not only that ,he ordered non-veg meal but was served veg instead. When he objected and tried to record feedback in the complaint form, the situation escalated. He alleges the crew misbehaved and even denied him a glass of water. Because of airline staff actions, the family says 5 hours were wasted. So this is what it has come to? As a passenger, you can’t even file a complaint or register dissatisfaction without facing harassment? Shocking, unacceptable, and deeply concerning.
