A week into camp, Jordan Love believes working mostly with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden has accelerated their timing. Something he couldn’t do a year ago with WR depth. “You build trust and understanding of where guys are going to be and how things time up.”

BREAKING: Trump is STANDING FIRM against Schumer and has no fear of a government shutdown, because it will be THEIR FAULT! "I think we could very well end up with a closed country for a period of time. We’ll take care of the military and take care of Social Security, we’ll take care of the things we have to take care of." "A lot of the things the Democrats fight for, which are not very good things, are not going to be able to be paid, and we’ll watch and see how they do with that" He is calling their bluff.

As you know, I'm pretty into tech. Something I love to do a lot is to play with computers and to tinker with systems. I am going to do a bunch of fun computer builds and this first PIII 600 Retro build is fun!

How can players make a big jump next year?!?! For High School and College players… they all put in work with their coaches. Most of them have a trainer they see to put in work. So what is the separator? 1. Are you working on the right things with your coaches that are going to help you be a better player working your team and overall 2. HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU PUT IN THE GYM ON YOUR OWN. This is a HUGE SEPARATOR because this time isn’t dependent on anyone and is unlimited in how much you do. Almost every player I’ve worked with that has made a BIG JUMP has put in extra time on their own. It’s not only because of the work, but it also helps players understand their game better and gives them a bigger investment in their development. As a player you should assess that part of your development today!

Gilbert Arenas says the only thing that has changed with Toronto is the illusion of a 35 year old guy that’s only going to be there for a year or two: “You traded all your young pieces with all your young pieces. The future of your team is at the Clippers now. You got him for a year or two and he’s gone, now what you got? Nothing. I thought he would come there add with those guys and teach those guys how to be great and they can move on. You got rid of three or four young people that’s gonna build with Scottie Barnes that’s gonna move the needle together.” This is true the Raptors are putting a lot of trust in a guy that’s 35 and injury prone to come into this stack Eastern Conference to win a championship.

Nick Young on LeBron James comments about the GOAT debate: “I feel like every time you even speak to LeBron it’s a problem like, if you say anything about LeBron being the goat are anything comments going to fill up and people get mad it’s outrageous. I feel like Jordan never had to deal with this type of media. He couldn’t do no wrong. And now we in a place where everybody has a voice it’s not just 2 channels on cable. Everybody has their voice and I feel like the tune going to change when this generation becomes and take the spot, it’s going to be all LeBron the young generation love LeBron.” (Via Gil’s Arena)

“Once people grow up understanding their responsibilities and that things just don't happen, or that you don't wait until somebody else comes to your rescue and helps you out on different things; it is that group of people from whom there will emerge leaders who step forward and even be leaders of this country in one way or another. With a sense of responsibility comes the understanding of the story of where you have come from, where you are, and where you want to be.” Chairman Kagame | Press Conference

I want to do business with people I can trust. That’s what gets you a second meeting with me. I know how to find out if you're someone I can trust, and I can do it pretty quickly. If I have an intuitive gut feeling that I can trust you, you'll get a second meeting. And if I don't, we’ll just never talk again. I'm very, very fortunate to be able to choose where I spend my time and money, and I don't really do it for the money anymore. I don't need more money. I need more time and if I'm going to be spending my time, I'd rather be working with people I trust.

I love the description of Pixar as a miracle factory. How do you create the conditions to make special outcomes more likely? Ali Rowghani helped build Pixar, working closely with Steve Jobs and Ed Catmull in their golden era. He also worked closely with the Twitter founders and then Sam at YC. He’s advised some of the best founders through his work at YC Continuity and now his own fund First Harmonic. I love talking to Ali and always learn something new. Hope you enjoy.
