We need to lay roads before cleaning them, or are you only concerned with the roads you use? Lots of new areas of Bengaluru just have dirt for a road.

Hosur road highway has piles or garbage bags everywhere, next to metro pillars Jail road has garbage bags every 100 m & no footpaths It stinks in most places Only old Bangalore gets money to redecorate roads that are already in good shape 2 classes in same city We pay same taxes

And world class city bans car pooling, bike taxis, delays metros etc And the traffic is otherworldly It is taking 1-1.5 hrs to cover just 6 kms in ORR after 7.45-8 am This initiative is good Pls look at our problems & resolve our issues

@DKShivakumar can u pls define the boundaries of this so called world class city. Bcoz where I stay, I dont see anything other than dirt, potholes and broken footpaths. Not to mention endless traffic.

As a Bengalurean and with deep concern for the city's future, I would urge the DCM to consult experts and transport planners before making a decision on the tunnel road, ensuring that it serves the best interests of the city. Many citizens of Bengaluru are expressing their opposition to this proposal, and the DCM asks what authority they have oppose. Let me remind - we are taxpaying citizens. Bengaluru belongs to us all. Bengaluru, once built by visionary leaders, is now facing challenges due to poor planning, and it is our collective responsibility to safeguard its future.
