Around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash involving a Jaguar that slammed into the rear of a school bus and became wedged underneath it. Authorities said there were no students on board at the time of the collision. The bus driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Video of the incident shows the Jaguar driver failing to slow down as the school bus approached a bus stop. The driver was cited for following too closely.

As summer vacation kicks off, we want to address a major concern we've been hearing from our community: e-motorcycles. This video is one example of the danger. A 15-year-old rider turned in front of a vehicle. Thankfully, this incident did not end even worse. Parents, please pay attention. These e-motos are NOT street legal and young riders often do not understand traffic laws, speeds, or the risks involved. A crash involving a vehicle can change lives in an instant. We want kids to have a fun and SAFE summer. Please talk with your children about where and how they ride. Our deputies will continue enforcement and education efforts throughout the summer.

Ambulance Runs Over Man Before Speeding Off Leading to His Death. Family Demands Justice. A West Virginia man died after a Kanawha County ambulance struck him and kept going in the early morning hours of April 16th, according to authorities and surveillance footage obtained by ABC 8. According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, two female EMS workers with the Kanawha County first noticed a suspicious person near their detachment around 2 a.m. They thought the man, later identified as Lucas, was armed with a knife and wearing what looked like a bathrobe but turned out to be a trench coat. Worried for their safety, they left the area. As the ambulance traveled along Lucas allegedly ran out from beside a building and leaped onto the hood while still believed to be armed. The crew sped off and Lucas fell off the vehicle. They then called Metro 911. Deputies located Lucas in critical condition on U.S. Route 119. Radio traffic picked up by dispatchers captured the crew reporting screams coming from under the ambulance at one point. Dispatchers told them to stop, but the vehicle kept moving for nearly two miles before it finally pulled over. The sheriff’s office says the incident remains under active investigation. The two EMS workers are on administrative leave. The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority said it will carry out an internal review once the sheriff’s office and prosecutors finish their work. Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney Debra Rusnak noted that a thorough investigation is underway with the medical examiner’s office involved.

Today we revisit the painful story of the late National Intelligence Office the late Elvis Opiyo 😢. By now Everyone knows the circum surrounding his arrested and the charges he faced in relat to the public case invol Clare Ochieng. But what happene in the week leadi up to his death? Elvis was out on bail having been charged in court in relation to Clare's acid attack. He last days of his life, he visited his home in the village. While at home, he receiv a phone call from his bosses that he was needed in the office, as a resul , he travelled to Nairobi and upon reaching the office, he was given a summary dismissal letter following the painful and unimaginable case that has been ongoing. This is where things took a tragic turn, stress quickly escalated to depression, he started living a solitude life, often not speaking much even with his closed friends and wife who was in the village. On the fateful day, he committed suicide by taking poison while in his house in Amani Court, Umoja two, Nairobi. A white mug and a spoon was found next to him on the floor. A brilliant young man just lost it like that leaving this magnificent house he had built in the village 💔💔💔💔😭😭

The presidency is not a gift, & it’s not anyone’s turn. The seat is more than that, & it’s obvious. At first, it was Yar’dua (🕊️), then we had M. Buhari. Bola Tinubu came along, & we are back to questioning the condition of his health. It is high time the health status of the president is made public. In fact, the constitution should make it mandatory before the swearing in. Because this “second fall” speaks to Tinubu’s health, more than his age. President Trump is 79, but as fit as a fiddle. President Biden was 80 when he fell at an event in Colorado. In fact, he had several well-publicized fall, including the 2021 multiple trips, while he was walking up the stairs to board Air Force One. Contrary to the age he did declare, Bola is not as young as he claims. This is the second time he has stumbled & fell. First was on June 12 Democracy Day. Then today at a Turkish event. There is nothing mild about the fall. And it’s not a misstep, a brief stumble, or a miscalculation as “spin doctors” would want you & I to believe. A “Legend of the Fall” way too many.

At least it would appear he was addressing NATO because of the flags behind him like a movie set. When he turned his head to the right during his speech he was actually looking at the small delegation he took with him. Melanie Joly posted this picture then hastily deleted it. She probably got a phone call because of how bad it looked. There are clearly not many people there. But I managed to save it first. 🤣
