"ATR should be designated as a permanent exclusion zone for civil air traffic." The solution to this bureaucratic bottleneck lies in reclassing the area as a permanent no fly zone for civilian air traffic.

On the intervening night of 8th and 9th May 2025, the Pakistan military carried out multiple violations of Indian airspace along the entire Western Border with an intent to target military infrastructure. The Pakistan military also resorted to firing heavy-calibre weapons along the LoC. Along the International Border and LoC, drone intrusions were attempted from Leh to Sir Creek at 36 locations with approximately 300-400 drones. The Indian Armed Forces brought down these drones using kinetic and non-kinetic means. The possible purpose of these large-scale aerial intrusions was to test AD systems and gather intelligence. Forensic examination of the drone debris is being undertaken. Preliminary reports suggest them to be of the Asisguard Songar drone of Turkey. Later in the night, an armed UAV of Pakistan attempted to target Bhatinda military station, which was detected and neutralized. In response to the Pakistani attack, armed drones were launched at four air defense sites in Pakistan. One of the drones was able to destroy an AD radar. Pakistan also carried out artillery shelling across the LoC using heavy-calibre artillery guns and armed drones at Sandhar, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar, Rajouri, Akhnoor and Udhampur in the Jammu and Kashmir area, which resulted in some losses and injuries to Indian Army personnel. The Pakistan Army also suffered major losses in Indian retaliatory fire. Additionally, Pakistan's irresponsible behaviour again came to the fore. Pakistan did not close its civil airspace, despite launching a failed unprovoked drone and missile attack on 7th May at 08:30 hrs in the evening. Pakistan is using civil airliners as a shield, knowing fully well that its attack on India would elicit a swift air defence response. This is not safe for the unsuspecting civil airliners, including the international flights which were flying near IB between India and Pakistan. The screenshot we just showed shows the data of the application FlightRadar24 during a high air defence alert situation in the Punjab sector. As you have seen, the airspace on the Indian side is absolutely devoid of civil air traffic due to our declared closure. However, there are civil airlines flying the air route between Karachi and Lahore. Amongst the other civil aircraft that you can see, we have highlighted an aircraft which is an Airbus A320 of Flynas Aviation, which originated from Dammam at 17:50 hrs and landed later at Lahore at 21:10 hrs in the night. The Indian Air Force demonstrated considerable restraint in its response, thus ensuring the safety of international civil carriers. : Wing Commander Vyomika Singh

Awards for Indian Soldiers Killed in Operation Sindoor — A Defeated India in a State of Helplessness 🇵🇰 🇮🇳 ⚡ 🔰Across the world, fallen soldiers are honored with respect. However, during Operation Sindoor, the Indian military has come under intense internal & external pressure for not acknowledging its casualties and losses. The government and army faced heavy losses, which they have continued to hide to avoid public humiliation and embarrassment. 🔰Verified sources reveal that over 250 Indian soldiers were killed on the Line of Control alone. Despite initially denying losses, India is now belatedly awarding over 100 soldiers and pilots who died during the operation. 🔰To mask its defeat, India suppressed the truth about its losses and casualties. Among the hidden casualties are 7 Indian Air Force personnel and 5 soldiers from the 10th Infantry Brigade G-Top, all now nominated for military honors by India. 🔰At Headquarters 93 Infantry Brigade, 9 killed soldiers are being awarded. India also plans to honor 4 Air Force pilots, including 3 Rafale pilots. Additionally, 5 x S-400 system operators killed at Adampur Air Base and 9 personnel from Udhampur Air Defense Unit will also receive awards. 🔰Two soldiers killed at Rajouri Aviation Base and four in Uri, including the Supply Depot OC, are also listed for honors. One from Nowshera’s Intelligence Field Support Unit and three from Uri’s 12th Infantry Brigade will also be awarded. 🔰After Pakistan’s successful strikes on Pathankot and Udhampur, India was forced into a ceasefire, as Indian own spokesperson and international media reported. More so several Indian generals and diplomats have also reluctantly acknowledged these losses, including the destruction of bases and Rafale jets. 🔰In this so-called one of biggest democracy, families of killed soldiers have been pressured not to share their loved ones’ photos online. India continues to hide both the scale of its military losses and the identities of its fallen, despite confirmations by Indian and global media. 🔰If India never acknowledged these deaths, why is it now awarding honors? A professional army proudly remembers its fallen soldiers. Yet, India’s denial and hiding of losses in Operation Sindoor remain a shameful and unprofessional act at the part of India as a country and Indian Armed Forces as an institution.

Big push to Self-reliance in Unmanned Aerial Systems Hon’able PM on his visit to Nagpur on 30 Mar 2025, made his last halt of the day at Solar Defence & Aerospace Ltd (SDAL) Nagpur. Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman and Mr Raghav Nuwal welcomed the Hon’able PM at SDAL Helipad. From there he was escorted to Technical Area where Hon’ble PM inaugurated Loiter Munition Test Range. Spread over 1080 acres this test range has a dedicated Command & Control Centre, UAV Take off Area, Endurance and Communication Range check facility, Parachute Recovery Area, Static & Moving Target Engagement, Target Hit and CEP Measurement, Warhead Lethality Test facility, and many more. After the inauguration the PM visited the product gallery wherein SDAL showcased its products like Pinaka Rocket System, Air-bombs, Mines, Grenade, Military Explosives, ATGM, Nagastra 1 & 2 Loiter Munitions, and many more. Thereafter, the PM was then escorted by the Chairman to the newly constructed Air strip where he was received by Mr. Manish Nuwal, MD & CEO, SDAL. He then proceeded to unveil the Plaque to mark the Inauguration of the new 1.27 km Runway Facility for Development & Testing of MALE/HALE Class Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Solar has taken a big initiative for developing a MALE UAV and a suo-moto proposal has already been submitted to IAF which is under consideration. The Prime Minister also witnessed the display of the state of art indigenously developed systems viz. Loiter Munition (Nagastra 3), Bhargavastra (Micro-Missile based Counter Drone System) and Bhaumastra (Mine Detection & Disposal System). Key highlights of displayed systems are as follows: - • Loitering Munitions: Many Indian industries and start-ups have entered drone related technologies and systems mostly focused on surveillance and logistics applications. Use of drones and UAVs for combat applications requires critical competency and infrastructure. Keeping in view the futuristic requirements of this emerging technology, SIDAL has taken the initiative to develop Nagastra series of Loiter Munitions of ranges from 15 km to more than 100 km and explosive payload carrying capability from 1 kg to 10 kg. Nagastra 3 is a Vehicle Launched Loiter Munition System of endurance 3 hours, range 100 km and can carry 8.5 kg warhead. It is being developed under Make 2 project from Arty of Indian Army. • Bhargavastra is an indigenously designed and developed Counter Drone System meant for quick interception of drones for an assured hard kill using tiny, guided missiles with swarm engagement capability. This solution offers mobile protection against drone attacks with near simultaneous engagement of multiple drones. With a long range of detection (upto 6 km) and long range of neutralization (upto 2.5 km), it ensures safety of vulnerable assets/battlefield formations. • SDAL has taken an initiative to address the global menace of land mines detection and disposal. As per some estimates there are more than 11 million buried mines world over which remain uncleared and are causing casualties or maiming of both soldiers and civilians in peace time. Bhaumastra, a drone-based system under development by SDAL, would be the first of its kind in any developed nation to provide a drone-based solution to this global problem. It was a proud and inspirational moment for all the 10,000 employees of Solar Group, Nagpur to be witness to this important milestone in the History of their Company where the Prime Minister was among their midst. An emotional send off was given to the Hon’ble PM by the 3 generations of the SDAL Group management viz. Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, Shri Manish Nuwal CEO and Managing Director and Mr Raghav Nuwal.

After over a decade of evading air defenses over the skies of Syria during a campaign against Iran's supply of weapons to Hezbollah, the Israeli Air Force says it has achieved total air superiority in the area. An Israeli bombing campaign earlier this week across Syria, aimed at taking out advanced weaponry that could fall into the hands of hostile elements following the collapse of the Bashar al-Assad regime, also destroyed the vast majority of the air defenses in the country. According to the military, the IAF destroyed 86% of the former Assad regime's air defense systems across Syria, totaling 107 separate air defense components and another 47 radars. The numbers include 80% of the short-to medium-range SA-22, also known as the Pantsir-S1; and 90% of the Russian SA-17 medium-range air defense system, also known as the Buk. Both Russian-made systems had posed challenges to the IAF during its so-called campaign between campaigns — or Mabam, as it's known by its Hebrew acronym — aimed at countering Iranian weapon deliveries to Hezbollah in Lebanon and attempts by Iran-backed groups to gain a foothold in the country, which began in 2013. Only a handful of air defense systems now remain in Syria, and they are not considered a major threat to the IAF, which says it can operate freely across the country's skies. "The Syrian air defense array is one of the strongest in the Middle East and the blow caused to it is a significant achievement for the Air Force's superiority in the region," the IDF says. The new freedom of aerial action also brings the IAF new opportunities. If in the past, the IAF would not fly directly over Damascus when carrying out strikes on Iran-linked targets in the capital, it now can. The IAF can also send surveillance drones over the Syrian capital without the fear of them being shot down by the advanced Russian-made air defense systems. While the Iran-backed Assad regime has fallen, Israel still will operate over Syria to ensure that advanced weapons from the former government's army do not reach Hezbollah in Lebanon or any other group hostile to Israel in the region. The bombing campaign on Sunday and Monday, which began hours after Assad's regime fell, also hit Syrian airbases, weapon depots, weapon production sites, and chemical weapons sites, in addition to the air defense systems. The strikes destroyed hundreds of missiles and related systems, 27 fighter jets, 24 helicopters, and more. A total of 1,800 munitions were used in the strikes, taking out nearly every site of "strategic military capabilities" that Israel was aware of. The IDF assesses that it did not destroy all of the Assad regime's military capabilities, and Hezbollah will most certainly try to get its hands on advanced weapons that were so far spared. The chances of weapons from Syria finding their way to Hezbollah in Lebanon are considered to be high, according to the IDF's assessments. To prevent weapons from reaching Hezbollah, the IAF has bombed all of the border crossings between Syria and Lebanon, leaving just one of them, Masnaa, open for pedestrian traffic. The IAF says it is constantly monitoring the crossings to ensure that Hezbollah does not return to use them for weapon deliveries. At the same time, the military also believes it has dealt a major blow to the weapon manufacturing capabilities of the entire Iran-led axis, in Lebanon, Syria, and in Iran itself with October's strike in response to Tehran's ballistic missile attack.

The Lessons from Vietnam Twenty years ago, the Ukrainian company Vizar was producing air defense missiles for the S-300 systems. With underground facilities and years of expertise, the company was bombed by Russian forces merely two months after the onset of the war. Vizar, along with other Ukrainian companies, had ample opportunity to relocate their production to new sites, yet they did not take this action. This reflects a series of missteps by the Ukrainian MoD and their Western advisors. Between 2014 and 2021, Ukraine received billions in support aimed at modernizing its armed forces. This funding was sufficient to upgrade significant portions of its arsenal, including the T-64 tanks. At that time, in a strategic decision, Ukraine opted for modernization rather than procuring new tanks. However, a similar process was required in their domestic factories to produce missiles and upgrade the Soviet-designed systems that in 2022 constituted 80% of their military inventory, but the Ukrainian MoD was able only to refurbish some weapons. It is in this context that Vietnam offers important lessons for Ukraine. Vietnam boasts more than three factories capable of producing and upgrading Soviet systems. Their S-300 systems, including radars, are being enhanced at the engineering department of the A29 Factory. The A31 and A41 factories are also engaged in processing surface-to-air missiles and producing spare parts for the S-75, S-125, S-300, and various other surface-to-air missile systems. Notably, the same factory successfully upgraded the S-125 "Pechora" surface-to-air missiles, resulting in the creation of the S-125 2TM "Pechora-M" variant, which offers superior performance compared to the original model. These Vietnamese factories are adept at repairing, assembling, and upgrading their weaponry. Currently, Vietnam is also engaged in upgrading its Scud missiles. Vietnam implemented a strategic approach that Ukraine should have adopted, a necessity that was overlooked by Western advisors, whether intentionally or not. Before the conflict, Ukraine possessed approximately 4,500 defense missiles but failed to establish a network of companies capable of upgrading and organizing the constant supply of these Soviet missiles. Despite Ukraine's significant legacy in missile development during the Soviet era, there was no strategic planning for a sustainable military supply chain, resulting in a reliance on Western systems, which are also experiencing ammunition shortages. The current Ukrainian arsenal contains numerous short-range air defense systems that are now abandoned and inactive. NATO's assessments regarding Russian military and industrial capabilities were flawed, as was their analysis of the repair logistics for Western equipment supplied to Ukraine. Additionally, there was a lack of planning aimed at creating a sustainable military framework for Ukraine. This occurred despite the existence of companies with a long-standing tradition and underground facilities specifically designed to operate during wartime. Currently, only a few Ukrainian companies are responsible for the limited production of missiles, such as the Neptune, along with some drones. This output is merely a fraction of what it could have been at this stage. The Lessons from Vietnam? The capacity for supply must be established as a cohesive chain, capable of supporting both modern and old equipment that requires upgrades within a domestic production framework.

They competed against the world's best defense giants. And won. 🇮🇳🥇 Why the Indian Army chose a Mumbai startup over global tech to guard the LAC 15,000 feet. -30°C. Thin air. 🏔️❄️ Most drones simply fall out of the sky in the Himalayas. The air is too thin to generate lift. When the Indian Army needed a tactical scout for the LAC, the world assumed we would buy Israeli or American. Instead, a Mumbai-based startup beat them all. Here is why ideaForge is the new standard for High-Altitude Warfare. ⚡️ The "Rancho" Connection: Remember the quadcopter scene in 3 Idiots? That wasn't just a prop. It was an early prototype built by the founders of ideaForge at IIT Bombay. What started as a college project by Ankit Mehta and his team has now evolved into the backbone of India’s tactical surveillance. The "Death Valley" Test: In 2020, during the standoff with China, the Indian Army issued a challenge: A drone that could launch from a cramped mountain bunker, fly for hours, and withstand gale-force winds. Global defense giants competed. But ideaForge’s SWITCH UAV was the only one that met every single parameter during the grueling trials in Ladakh. Why "SWITCH" is a Tactical Masterpiece: -->It’s a Hybrid VTOL (Vertical Take-off and Landing). -->Its fixed-wing drones need runways (impossible on a mountain peak). Quadcopters have terrible battery life (useless for long patrols). -->The SWITCH takes off vertically like a helicopter, then "switches" mode to fly like a plane. -->It has 15km range, 120-minute endurance, day/night thermal optics. It creates a 24/7 digital perimeter around our forward posts. The Arsenal: They aren't a one-trick pony. Their portfolio is purpose-built for Indian conditions: -->SWITCH 1.0/V2: High-altitude, long-endurance, VTOL (Vertical Take-off & Landing). -->NETRA Series: The workhorse for police and counter-insurgency. -->NINJA: Lightweight, stealthy micro-UAV for tactical squads. -->ZOLT (New!): Just secured a major ₹75 Cr order for this next-gen tactical UAV. The "Reverse Tech" Flow 🇺🇸 Usually, India imports tech from the West. ideaForge is flipping the script. Through their subsidiary, they are now targeting the US Security Market. They are building drones in India that meet the strict "Green UAS" compliance standards of the US Government—something even Chinese giant DJI is struggling with. Emergency Response Leap: -->Strategic MoU with C-DAC (Dec 2025) to integrate FLYGHT Drone-as-a-Service platform with India's nationwide ERSS (Dial 112) system. --> Goal is to slash average 20-minute emergency response time by sending drones first for real-time situational awareness (fire, police, medical). -->Also exploring VEGA processor integration + AI swarm research. Pure Atmanirbhar Bharat energy. ideaForge isn't just a "Make in India" success story; it is a "Make for the World" blueprint. They didn't win because of government protectionism; they won because, at 15,000 feet, their tech was simply better. The Watchman on the Wall is now Indigenous. 🇮🇳 Ankit Mehta ideaForge Technology Limited Col AJ🇮🇳 Aadi Achint 🇮🇳 Major Sammer Pal Toorr (Infantry Combat Veteran) TheGlobalDecoder #ideaForge #Ladakh #IndianArmy #UAV #atmanirbharbharat

Iran war, day 89! Trump keeps breaching the ceasefire! Just how compromised is Oman? -4 American vessels, attempted to cross the SOH without coordinating with IRGC security forces -They were warned, and following their disregard, warning shots were fired at them, forcing them to turn back. -4 drones were fired as warning shots Meanwhile, Kosher media lies as usual and claims: -that IRGC fired 4 one-way drones at a U.S. commercial ship! -The U.S. military shot down all the drones and attacked another Iranian drone launching unit on the ground before it launched in Bandar Abbas, the official added -no mentions of the 4 invader vessels attempting to breach iran’s control of the SOH, and failing miserably! Per Reuters, the U.S. military has executed new strikes on an Iranian military facility that “posed a threat to U.S. forces and commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz”. -no mention of the U.S. military invasion of a sovereign territory. However, -U.S. official told CBS News the Iran ceasefire holds following tonight's strikes. -interesting how no accusation was made against Iran breaching the ceasefire despite kosher media’s bs claims. Analysis: The U.S. is testing out Iran’s ability to strike U.S. ships with limited breaches to gauge where Iran is striking from each time. Iran isn’t providing a predictable pattern and is sticking to its protocol of warnings, warning shots, and then on standby to escalate. Ynet Hebrew news on Iran’s demand for compensation: Tehran sets new conditions - the US must pay $300 billion in compensation! -Trump/Israel keep raising the price for a peace deal How is Trump’s bs blockade working out? Per WSJ: Despite the naval blockade, Iran continues to sell its oil! -The ship-to-ship transfer of oil in the middle of the sea reveals Iran's main strength and the main reason for its ability to resist US pressure for a long time. -Per the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, Tehran earned about $31 billion in oil revenues from China last year. -this is conservative figure as most of sales are unaccounted for -The Chinese government explicitly ordered local companies not to comply with US sanctions against five Chinese refineries. And now Iran is selling its oil and maximum capacity, at higher prices. Pre war oil was at $70/b. It’s around $100/b. Trump did that! Nobody fears Trump’s bs blockade, sanctions and tariffs! Trump keeps barking anyway! Trump reserved the right to now wipe out Oman and finish off Iran! -I thought Iran was already beat according to Trump! As for Oman: Oman can be considered the most staunch supporter of the U.S. presence in the Persian Gulf region. The first military agreement between the two countries was signed in 1980. Currently, 26,000 American air force units are stationed on the territory of this Arab state. In addition, U.S. military aviation units assigned the private security firm DynCorp International to guard various parts of the base, including aircraft hangars, fuel storage, ammunition depots, automobiles, and administrative buildings. Oman hosts multiple US military bases: -the bases of the Navy in Rycote, Sit Lahsa and Muscat. -the U.S. air force bases are in al-Hasib, Siba, Markaz Tamarid, and masir. -the air force base in masir and the port of Matra are permanent bases of the US armed forces. -Oman hosts the command post of the US air force. -From American air bases in Oman, drones (UAVs) are periodically flown over the territories of many countries, up to Afghanistan. Iran for whatever reason trusted Oman as a mediator state at one time. Trump said he is not sure the U.S. should sign a deal to end the war with Iran if Saudi Arabia and other gulf slave states don't agree to join the Abraham Accords! They owe it to us he says! Kosher media calls out Netanyahu’s bs! "Haaretz" quoting an Israeli field officer: Netanyahu's claim of killing 600 Hezbollah fighters in recent weeks is laughable

A disturbing video circulating on Ethiopian social media reveals a chilling endorsement of genocide by a pro-government activist, raising alarms over the fate of ethnic Amharas. The video features a prominent regime supporter loyal to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, making a public call for the massacre of Amhara civilians as the "solution" to end resistance from the Amhara region, particularly in Gojjam. This rhetoric marks a dangerous escalation in the Ethiopian government’s ongoing war with the Amhara people and highlights the severity of the humanitarian crisis. In the video, the activist openly advocates for the mass killing of civilians, arguing that the Ethiopian military's struggle in Gojjam is due to the overwhelming support the Amhara Fano (local armed resistance group) receives from the civilian population. According to his explanation, the military’s losses in the region are not solely the result of combat with the Fano fighters but are also because the entire Amhara community in Gojjam—farmers, youths, and everyday civilians—supports and aids the resistance. The activist bluntly claims that the only way to defeat the Amhara Fano in Gojjam is by wiping out the civilian population, insisting that massacring the entire community is essential to breaking the resistance. He further suggests that without such brutal measures, the conflict will continue indefinitely, as the local population is perceived as an integral part of the resistance movement. The activist’s statements are a stark endorsement of genocidal violence, raising fears that these views reflect the broader strategy of the Ethiopian government. These calls for mass violence against civilians are not isolated rhetoric. On the ground, there have been numerous reports of heavy bombardments targeting Amhara civilians and infrastructure in the region. In Gojjam’s Mecha district, for example, over 45 drone strikes were reported within a span of just three hours, wreaking havoc on civilian lives and property. Despite these alarming developments, the international community, including global institutions and human rights organizations, has largely remained silent. The video provides a clear and disturbing context for the Ethiopian government's military operations, revealing the genocidal intent behind its actions. The silence of international institutions in the face of such blatant incitement to violence is deeply troubling. The world has witnessed countless instances of ethnic violence and genocide in recent history, often followed by solemn declarations of "Never Again." Yet, in Ethiopia, as calls for genocide against the Amhara people grow louder, there is a shocking absence of international outcry. How many more lives must be lost before the global community acknowledges the unfolding genocide ? This video, which can be independently verified as a genuine translation from Amharic, should serve as a wake-up call. The activist’s brazen recommendation to massacre an entire ethnic group should trigger alarm bells in international institutions and human rights bodies. It is not just a call for violence; it is an explicit endorsement of genocide, aimed at eliminating an entire population perceived as an obstacle to military victory. The Ethiopian government, under the leadership of Abiy Ahmed, is already carrying out operations that reflect this narrative—bombarding civilian populations with artillery and drones. The international community must act now, not after the genocide has already taken its toll. History will judge the world's response to the suffering of the Amhara people, and there can be no excuse of ignorance. The global community is aware of the situation, and failure to act is tantamount to complicity. It is imperative that human rights organizations, international bodies, and governments around the world address this genocidal rhetoric and prevent further atrocities.

The officer, escaped several days ago, is now at the center of an intensive manhunt by India’s top intelligence agencies. The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Military Intelligence (MI) have been jointly leading the search for the Colonel, but five days into the operation, there has been no trace of his whereabouts. His disappearance has sparked alarm across the country’s security and defense apparatus, raising serious concerns over internal breaches and intelligence lapses. The Colonel's escape has triggered a sweeping counterintelligence operation aimed at dismantling what is believed to be a wider espionage network within the Indian Army South western command. Indian authorities suspect several of his alleged associates, including another officers, are now also present in the South Western command. 🔴 Indian media reported just a day ago the arrest of Sunil Kumar, a 26-year-old cobbler from Samastipur, Bihar. Employed for the past eight years at Bathinda Cantonment, Kumar was detained by Indian authorities on charges of espionage. 🔴 However, his arrest is an attempt by intelligence agencies to deflect attention from the real breach — the Colonel's escape — and to fabricate a success in an otherwise faltering investigation. Kumar, a civilian with limited access, have been used as a scapegoat in a calculated move by Indian intelligence. Sources also claim: the cobbler arrest was to instill panic among the Colonel’s network and provoke actionable missteps from others under surveillance. However, the strategy has so far failed to yield any concrete results. 🔴 The missing Colonel was part of the Indian Army's 10 Corps, "Chetak Corps." His position granted him access to highly sensitive military sites and classified information. Over a period of several years, he and his associates passed critical documents to Pakistan's ISI. 🔴 The leaked intelligence is said to include detailed information on South Western Command operations, artillery deployments, logistical frameworks, the 615 Air Defence Brigade, and a key ammunition depot in Bathinda. The incident has sent shockwaves through the indian intelligence community. Despite extensive surveillance operations and an ongoing internal probe across the 10 Corps and South Western Command, the agencies have been unable to track down the missing officer or identify the full extent of his network. This developing situation is fast becoming one of the most serious espionage breaches in recent Indian military history, exposing not only a dangerous leak but also critical flaws in the country’s counterintelligence capabilities. #Pakistan #India #PakistanArmy #IndianArmy #Modi #IndiaPakistanWar

In the Kremlin, at least until September, when parliamentary elections are scheduled, officials are trying to avoid the issue of open mobilization. To prevent public discontent, the authorities have established a multi-layered system of covert recruitment. Formally, it is framed as "contracts," "reserves," and "infrastructure protection." But in essence, this is an attempt to compensate for the declining volunteer influx and avoid political risks ahead of the elections. Currently, about a thousand people sign contracts every day, which is roughly 200 fewer than a year ago. If this seemed like a temporary decline during the winter, it is now becoming a systemic trend. For Moscow, this is a signal that the previous pool of people willing to die in Ukrainian tree lines is drying up, and recruitment for money is no longer yielding results. ◾️ Recently, the governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, announced the start of a call-up of reservists to protect the "Leningrad's sky." The goal is to form mobile fire groups composed of men with prior combat experience. They are supposedly to be employed at critical infrastructure enterprises, which they will defend against drones. They are promised special three-year contracts with periodic transfers to barracks. Most likely, this is not Drozdenko's personal initiative, but a "trial run" coordinated with the Russian government. In the near future, other regional leaders (primarily those in border regions) may announce similar decisions. In fact, this involves creating a trained reserve that could be used far more broadly than stated at any moment. Human rights activists warn that there are no special contracts for reservists, and the promise not to send them to the front is a deception. ◾️ Russian higher education minister Valery Falkov has set a target for universities - at least 2% of their total student body must enlist to serve in the Russian army. This is how the Kremlin plans to recruit an additional 76,000 soldiers. The recruitment mechanism is simple: expulsion for the slightest infractions (failing a test, being late for class, smoking in a prohibited area), followed by an offer - sign a contract and receive a diploma. In Novosibirsk, 14 college students have already been expelled under this mechanism. In Chuvashia, future medics with arrears are being persuaded to take academic leave and go to the front, with promises of reinstatement. Young people are also lured into "unmanned systems forces" with promises of one-year service. However, the contract addenda specify in fine print that the service is indefinite, with no guarantees regarding the military branch. ◾️ The private sector is also feeling the pressure. In Buryatia, the head of the Muysky district, Vladimir Dashiev, is demanding that every enterprise send at least two "volunteers." Refusal is viewed as sabotage. A similar decree has been issued in the Ryazan region: companies are required to send between two and five employees to the war. 🔷 The Kremlin is trying to hold out until September, seizing every opportunity to plug the gaps on the frontline. But the depletion of "volunteers" leaves Moscow facing an inevitable choice after the elections: either a full-scale second wave of mobilization or a shift to a grueling positional warfare.

Trump Says White House Knows What Drones Are As White House, FBI, DHS Insist Nothing Unusual Afoot Plus: Exclusive to Public, the recording of the White House’s drone briefing for angry New Jersey mayors Since November 18th, the military, city mayors, and citizens have been reporting widespread drone flying over military bases in New Jersey and Ohio and over homes in New Jersey and other states. This morning, a reporter asked President-elect Donald Trump about the drones. “The government knows what is happening,” said Trump. “And for some reason they don't want to comment. And I think they'd be better off saying what it is. Our military knows. Our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense. I can't imagine it's the enemy because if it were the enemy, even if they were late, they'd blast it. Something strange is going on.” A few hours later, representatives from the FBI, the White House, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Aviation Administration all said nothing unusual was going on. “These sightings include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones as well, as well as other aircraft, helicopters, and other images including lights mistakenly reported as drones,” said Jennifer Daskal of DHS. The mayors responded angrily. “This has been going on since November 8th,” said Mayor Mark Taylor of Florham Park. “You can say these are small aircraft. You can say these are manned. They're not. So, I think if anyone was to take away from this that, um, the drones aren't flying, they also must believe that the border is closed.” Public obtained the entire conference call between the mayors, the White House, the FBI, DHS, and the FAA, which ran from around p.m. ET today to just before pm ET. One mayor said he had one drone over his house. “This is certainly not normal,” said Mayor Sam Joshi of Edison. “It's an abnormal amount of drones and the sizes of them are just huge. I had two drones that were the size of vehicles. A couple hundred mayors are all waving a flag saying, ‘This is a big deal.’” Said Mayor Taylor, “I just don't want to hear any longer that we don't know where they're coming from because you should know that." Last week, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, " We have not seen drones penetrate restricted airspace," and Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby said, "There are no reported or confirmed drone sightings in any restricted airspace.” Kirby stressed the point twice. “There has been no evidence of any of this activity in or near restricted spaces. But US officials have officially reported drones at Langley, Edwards, Earle, and many other military and nuclear sites for years, including in New Jersey recently. The New York Post reported that drones flew over Picatinny Arsenal, a sensitive US military installation “that has been helping develop robotic drones that can counter weapons of mass destruction.” On Friday, drones forced the Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio to shut down air traffic. “Most of the New Jersey drone sightings were misidentified,” noted the War Zone, which broke the story, “so it is notable that the ones spotted over Wright-Patterson, as with the other U.S. military installations, were seen by trained observers that are equipped with high-end gear to maintain security and to discriminate between friend and foe.” Some Democrats in Congress joined Trump and the mayors in demanding more information. “The public has a right to know what is flying over their neighborhoods and in their communities,” said Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA). “Whether it’s drones or planes, getting people information is important for transparency and national security.” Please subscribe now to support Public’s award-winning investigative journalism and to listen to and read the transcript of the entire conference call between the White House, DHS, FBI, FAA, and the mayors of New Jersey.

PETER OBI MUST APOLOGISE TO AIRPORT STAFF AND PAY THE FINE FOR WRONG PARKING As the Minister of Aviation, I felt a moral duty to investigate and authenticate the claim made by opposition candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, a few days ago that the tyres of his car were ‘unjustly’ clamped at the airport, suggesting a ‘persecution agenda’ against him by the Federal Government. Politics aside, every Nigerian is entitled to fair treatment under the law. I therefore instituted an internal inquiry over the issue. Luckily enough, the entire Abuja airport is covered by CCTV cameras, real-time, 24/7. But apparently, this fact was unknown to Mr. Peter Obi. Otherwise, perhaps he would have been more circumspect before rushing to the media to cry ‘persecution’. From the recordings, these are the facts: 1. On Saturday, July 4th, 2026, Mr. Obi arrived at the domestic wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at exactly 20:28 pm, driven by a Policeman. He alighted with two other occupants and went into the terminal building. 2. The Police driver then parked the vehicle, almost blocking the entrance and came out himself and went into the terminal building too. The airport rule is that, apart from the fact that it is a drop-off zone, a driver must remain behind the wheels of the vehicle for it to be tolerated for some time within that zone. Still the vehicle tyres were not clamped. 3. The Policeman came back to the vehicle at about 20:32pm and collected something from the vehicle and went back into the building again, leaving the vehicle unattended to. 4. At this point, the dutiful airport security staff came over and clamped the tyres of the car. In doing this, contrary to the claims by Peter Obi, nobody was inside the car and so nobody knew whether it was his car (not that it should matter, anyway). 5. When the Policeman returned again and discovered the tyres were clamped, he was directed to an office and upon getting there, he called Mr. Peter Obi on his phone and gave the phone to the manager. Mr. Peter Obi then introduced himself and spoke with the manager, peddled his ‘influence’ and requested for the release of the vehicle. His vehicle was then released without him paying the necessary fine. 6. It is important to note that the time the vehicle was parked unattended to in that prohibited zone was about 30 minutes, which constitutes a security risk at an airport by global best practices. What has emerged from this is a clear case of an opposition candidate trying to whip up unnecessary sentiments for a wrong he committed with his driver. The excuse which Mr. Peter Obi gave that there were other offenders too on that day (which is completely false) cannot be an excuse for an individual aspiring to be President of Nigeria. He must live above board. This is a matter that was not even mentioned at all by the airport authorities and had been put to rest. But ever determined to milk any situation to score cheap political points, Mr. Peter Obi decided to go on air to render a false narrative. Therefore, he must also face the consequences of his actions. (I have attached the CCTV footages to this statement for the public to clearly see what transpired.) In the circumstances, consistent with the principle of equality before the law, as Minister of Aviation, I make the following demands on Mr. Peter Obi: 1. That he tenders an unreserved, public apology to those hardworking, ordinary Nigerian workers at the airport, just doing their jobs dutifully and whom he sought to blackmail as his ‘persecutors’. 2. That Mr. Peter Obi voluntarily goes back to the airport and pay the appropriate fine of N25,000 for wrongful parking at the airport for which he used ‘influence peddling’ to bully his way out on that day. He cannot be bigger than the law. If these demands are not met within one week, I will be giving the necessary directives to the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to take the next steps against him.

The upcoming weeks could be a period that requires close attention in terms of the geopolitical direction of East Africa. The overall picture in Addis Ababa indicates that the region is passing through a critical threshold. We are in Addis Ababa as part of President Erdoğan’s visit to Ethiopia. 1. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Ethiopia–Türkiye relations. Türkiye’s first embassy in Sub-Saharan Africa was opened in Addis Ababa in 1926. The main theme of the visit, consistent with this historical continuity, is a “Permanent Partnership.” 2. Ethiopia occupies an extremely sensitive position within the conflict-prone and competitive environment of the Horn of Africa. The leadership seeks to consolidate its position on issues it considers vital. At the same time, it tends to turn any emerging opportunity into a strategic gain. 3. However, growing demographic pressure, economic challenges, the fatigue of internal conflict, and other domestic vulnerabilities-combined with the structural disadvantages of being a landlocked country-are pushing Addis Ababa toward alternative strategic options. 4. In this context, the strategy of “access to the sea” is seen as a form of strategic relief-both for managing internal pressures and deepening regional influence. Creating economic breathing space, reducing logistical dependence, and increasing strategic maneuverability are the core motivations behind this approach. 5. This places Ethiopia in a difficult equation: it must produce policy within a competitive-and at times confrontational-regional environment where its ambitions may clash with the sovereignty sensitivities of its neighbors. The search for maritime access therefore stands out as an issue that could easily harden the region’s fragile balance. 6. Its closer alignment with the UAE in the Sudan civil war reflects the cumulative pressures of multiple security and economic challenges. Recent developments suggest that Ethiopia may seek a more active and visible role in the Sudan file in the near term. 7. At the same time, military movements along the Eritrean border carry risks that could trigger a new confrontation. For Ethiopia, the Eritrea issue is directly linked to its most critical maritime option. Access to the sea through Assab remains central to its strategic thinking. Historical grievances and current security concerns are deeply intertwined in this file. 8. Another critical relationship is with Egypt. The core issue here is the Nile Basin and water security. While the GERD dam represents energy production, development, and strategic leverage for Ethiopia, it is perceived by Egypt as a high-risk scenario. What began as a technical water management issue has evolved into a geopolitical matter directly tied to regional power balances. 9. When regional dynamics and the engagement of external actors are considered together, it becomes clear that Ethiopia is navigating a multilayered but high-risk foreign policy landscape-one that affects fault lines across North Africa, the Middle East, the Gulf, and the Horn of Africa. 10. Within this broader tension environment, Türkiye-Ethiopia relations remain in a positive trajectory. Despite differences in certain areas, the potential for deeper cooperation is high. Today, both leaders delivered strong messages in this direction. 11. President Erdoğan’s visit comes at a time when regional conflict dynamics are becoming increasingly visible. Ankara is seeking to develop a balancing approach aimed at preventing potential conflicts and lowering rising regional tensions. Given that Türkiye has both direct and indirect interests tied to the nature of its relationship with Ethiopia, the process is being managed with careful strategic consideration. 12. From arrival to departure, President Erdoğan was warmly received in Addis Ababa. The key areas of focus included economic cooperation, defense industry partnerships, and critical regional issues. 🟢Statement from Osama Khaled regarding the last message from the Qassam Brigades’ To begin with, I write these lines with great bitterness and pain, always praying that we would not reach this day when I would have to write these words… But Allah’s decree is inevitable, and our trust in Him, the Exalted, remains unwavering… Since the enemy’s army decided to expand its major ground campaign on the Gaza Strip, and the political leadership under Netanyahu resolved to enter and control Gaza City, it became clear that we are facing a major shift and a sharp turning point in the overall course of the war on Gaza. This signifies an attempt to annihilate the resistance and its fighters in Gaza, to break their strength, under the pretext of completely and permanently eliminating the resistance and its project—a goal the entity has set as a primary and strategic objective for the war it has been waging for two years. I believe that the Qassam Brigades’ leadership, represented by the new commander Abu Suhaib, found itself facing a complete closure of the political and negotiation horizon, with evasion and continuous deception from the entity’s leaders, full alignment of the American stance with the Zionist vision—evident in the targeting of the negotiation delegation in the Qatari capital, the most prominent mediator in the negotiation file—and a conviction solidified within the Qassam Brigades that the issue of the prisoners has become marginal for Netanyahu, who is leading the army toward specific goals aligned with his political vision for managing the conflict with the Palestinians. This means that we are in a battle of annihilation, an existential war for the resistance. The entity’s leaders know that the elite of the elite among the commanders and fighters remain steadfastly entrenched in the neighborhoods, alleys, and rubble of Gaza City, with unwavering determination to face the final confrontation, no matter the cost or price. Surrendering to the enemy or withdrawing from this land is unthinkable. Consequently, the form of combat, methods of operation, and defense strategies will be different, especially with the enemy’s mobilization of its elite divisions, including: The 162nd Armored Regular Division. The 36th Mechanized Regular Division. The 98th Paratrooper Reserve Division. These are the three main divisions for maneuvering within and controlling Gaza City. Additionally, the 99th Infantry Reserve Division and the 143rd Gaza Regional Division provide support and rear backing, alongside extensive participation from the navy, air force, elite special units, and the activation of military artificial intelligence systems. Facing this massive mobilization of enemy forces is a small number of Qassam fighting battalions operating in the defensive sector under the authority of the Qassam Gaza Brigade, along with what remains of other military wings. They have suffered significant losses in human, military, and administrative assets over two years of severe siege, continuous fighting, difficult field conditions, and significant attrition. This means, unequivocally, that with this statement, the Qassam Brigades have made the decision to pledge their lives in this small, fragile, yet strong patch of land—strong through the spirit of its people and the resolve of its men. They seek no one’s pity and are driven solely by the creed of the martyred Syrian Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam, who faced his martyrdom steadfastly while surrounded in the forests of Ya’bad in Jenin, refusing to surrender—a legacy immortalized as a slogan for the fighters in Palestine: (Indeed, it is a jihad for victory or martyrdom). The poet spoke truly when he said: (If death is inevitable, it is weakness to die a coward). In this critical moment, there is a vast difference between those who write, analyze, and speculate, and those who pay the price of dignity with their blood and souls… Since the matter has reached this advanced stage of the war, woe to a nation that has forsaken its shield, its finest youth, its brave fighters, and the elite of men in the blessed and pure land of Palestine… If Allah decrees that Gaza becomes the graveyard of the Muslims of this era, the blood of its people and fighters will not be in vain. It will mark a pivotal moment in the history of the nation by all measures. History will not forgive those who faltered, consented, or remained silent. Gaza’s honor and glory will be passed down through generations and preserved in history until the Day of Judgment… We are certain that Gaza of Hashem will witness great epics, where the entity’s army will face tremendous horrors and taste the wrath of its men, who have dealt death to it over the past three decades. These men, this virtuous group, will not meet their martyrdom with Allah until they have claimed many of the lives and limbs of Netanyahu’s soldiers, by His permission… If there is a testament, it is that the opportunities for support and aid have not ceased and have not ended… And Allah is the One who grants success and guidance." 🇵🇰 | Pakistan's new deterrence equation 🔺️Following the four-day military conflict with India in May, Pakistan created a new Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC). 🔺️Some dismiss it as a hurried move in the aftermath of recent Indo-Pak tensions. Others suspect it signals a shift toward escalation. Both views miss the point. 🔺️Background discussions with relevant authorities suggest the ARFC is not an overnight reaction but rather the culmination of a long, painstaking evolution in Pakistan's conventional military doctrine. For decades, Pakistan has been grappling with a fundamental challenge on how to balance India's overwhelming conventional superiority without sliding into overreliance on nuclear weapons. The answer, refined gradually by military planners and scientists, has been to strengthen long-range conventional strike options. The ARFC is the manifestation of that journey. At its core, ARFC consolidates Pakistan's long-range rocket and missile capabilities under a single command structure. Until now, artillery divisions with long-range vectors were dispersed, operating in relative isolation. Bringing them together under one umbrella reflects an effort at synergy, efficiency and doctrinal clarity. It is about using what already exists in a smarter way. The Fateh-series rockets stand at the heart of this project. With their enhanced range and precision, they symbolise a new phase in Pakistan's conventional response regime. These rockets are not just about raw firepower, they are about control, flexibility and credible deterrence short of the nuclear threshold. In future conflicts, such capabilities will allow Pakistan to deliver short, sharp and intense firepower duels in order to impose costs without inviting full-scale war. The timing of ARFC's unveiling invites speculation. India has been steadily expanding its conventional military edge, investing in missile defence systems and modernising its forces. Against this backdrop, Pakistan's move is as much about perception management as operational readiness. By institutionalising ARFC, Islamabad sends a clear signal. It has the means to circumvent India's air defence umbrella and strike across its territory. This matters in deterrence psychology. If India believes Pakistan lacks credible conventional responses, it may be tempted to push the envelope. The ARFC is designed to raise those costs and close that window of temptation. South Asia's deterrence debate has long been dominated by the nuclear question. Yet deterrence does not begin and end with nuclear weapons. Conventional capabilities matter. They shape the spectrum of conflict that exists below the nuclear threshold. ARFC serves as what analysts call an "operational leveler". It dilutes conventional asymmetry and complicates Indian war plans. By holding high-value targets at risk deep inside Indian territory, ARFC expands Pakistan's options in the event of a crisis. More importantly, it strengthens deterrence by punishment, the ability to inflict quick and decisive costs on any adversary who dares to test Pakistan's resolve. Skeptics will ask whether ARFC blurs the line between conventional and nuclear deterrence. The answer lies in its very design. 1/2.... Cont #Pakistan #India #Modi Read:

Trump prepares to invade Cuba. Can the island Resist? Following the difficulties encountered in Iran, despite expenditures exceeding $100 billion, Donald Trump is betting on a victory through military action against Cuba. On the 20th, the USS Nimitz and its carrier strike group, which includes the destroyer USS Gridley, officially arrived in the Caribbean. The official justification was that the movement is part of Operation Southern Seas 2026, but U.S. Southern Command emphasized that the presence serves as a strategic advantage and combat readiness. The arrival occurred on the same day the U.S. formally indicted former Cuban leader Raúl Castro for homicide, escalating fears of a military intervention similar to the one in Venezuela months earlier. This aligns with flight tracking data confirming that the U.S. has established a constant surveillance siege of Cuba with MQ-4C Triton drones; at least three of these high-altitude, long-endurance drones were detected operating near the island. At least five P-8A Poseidon aircraft are also participating in patrols, alongside Rivet Joint (RC-135) planes used for electronic eavesdropping to intercept communications and radar signals from Cuban defenses. The Trump administration justified this mobilization by citing intelligence that Cuba had acquired over 300 military drones from Russia and Iran. According to Washington, these drones could be used to attack the Guantanamo base or even U.S. territory, a fanciful claim that rings the alarm for a military operation. The intended action is expected to unfold similarly to what happened in Venezuela, but can Cuba resist? Cuba is going through a difficult period, marked by power outages, a high cost of living, fuel shortages, and low tourism activity, in addition to the strangulation caused by the Trump administration’s embargo. Regarding air defenses, the Cubans recently contracted the Belarusian company ALEVKURP to upgrade their Pechora systems to the S-125-2BM standard, replacing old analog components with modern digital processors. The system can now attack not only aircraft but also land and maritime targets with known coordinates. There have also been improvements to radars for operation under heavy electronic warfare and the capability to track targets using thermal and TV cameras. This allows for firing without turning on the radar, avoiding detection by anti-radiation missiles. Furthermore, the upgrade allows the system to identify drones visually or by heat without emitting radar signals, much like Iranian systems. The Pechora-2BM standard uses radars mounted on high-mobility vehicles; the idea is to activate the radar, fire the missile, and change positions in less than 25 minutes. Despite all these improvements, the Pechora remains a limited system. I would say Cuba will face great difficulty in containing U.S. aviation, but it will force caution upon enemy pilots. The Cuban strategy focuses on being an aerial guerrilla defense: not trying to defeat the U.S. Air Force, but rather increasing the political cost of an invasion by imposing losses. Cuban forces are also betting on Electronic Warfare. They possess many Cold War-era systems that were also recently modernized by Russian and Belarusian companies. Cuba tested these systems to perform spoofing and jamming of satellite signals, generating magnetic anomalies in the Caribbean reported this May 2026. Several mobile EW units are scattered across the island and camouflaged, making it difficult for spy planes and drones to locate them. Full article:
