While briefing the press, the security advisor and Chairman of the Unified Headquarters/Command Mr. Kuldiep Singh informed that a meeting of the โ€œStrategic Operation Group (SoG) was held on 18th September, 2024 at the Conference Hall of the Chief Secretary, Govt of Manipur regarding the intelligence โ€œinputโ€ pertaining to the intrusion of โ€œ900 Kuki militantsโ€ into Indian side (Manipur) from the neighbouring Myanmar. In the same said press meet, he also mentioned the officials who have attended the said meeting, and โ€œdiscussed (the matter) in detailโ€. Those security officials who have attended the said meeting include, besides the top officials of the Central Police Organizations like CRPF, the GOC of 57 Mountain Division (โ€œRed Shield Divisionโ€) of the Indian army, both the IGs Assam Rifles (South and East) who are top military bosses (two and three-star generals) of the Indian Army. If this is the case, what makes the 3 Corps of the Indian Army ("Spear Corps") to resort to such post in social media? Didnโ€™t those military bosses in charge of the 3 Corps get any input/briefing from their own high ranking military officers who have attended the said SOG meeting? Does this indicate a breakdown of communication and coordination within the military establishment, let alone amongst the security agencies, a professional failure which has led to the loss of life and protracted mayhem? What is the purpose or motive behind by such posts on social media by SpearCorps.IndianArmy?

"Naam, Namak or Nishaan"! How nice to hear this? But, where did the "Naam" go when a fellow Officer was illegally detained and his fiancee molested by Odisha Police ? What did you do? Where is the justice? It is very evident as to whose "Namak" most of our Generals are having when, they do the bidding of the politicians and advocate against the welfare of the troops under their command. Now coming to the "Nishaan" which has been, slowly & systematically eroded by making the very foundation of this organisation crumble by tinkering with the time tested Ethos, Customs & Traditions of the organisation. "YESMANSHIP" was certainly not our "Nishaan". Lastly, coming to the "Vetan" (เคตเฅ‡เคคเคจ) now. How do you expect a Soldier to fight with his full might when he is not even sure that his family back home would be well taken care of, both financially and otherwise? Core issues like anomalies in successive pay commissions, of OROP and grant of NFU are equally important for a Soldiers' well being and career growth. The silence/opposing of/by the Top Brass speaks volumes about the much cherished "Naam, Namak & Nishaan". The Chetwode Credo has been long forgotten. In the words of the Great & Legendary FM Sam Manekshaw, " BE A MAN, NOT A YESMAN". The detection was made possible due to the sharp vigilance of Military Intelligence, preventing what could have been a serious national security breach. Inside the tunnel, investigators recovered earphones, electrical wiring, and other technical equipment, indicating a possible planned surveillance or espionage operation. Even more alarming was the discovery of recently stored food wrapped in a dated newspaper, suggesting recent human activity inside the tunnel. Following the discovery, Military Intelligence immediately alerted local police, and now multiple agencies including Intelligence Bureau, CID, and other security forces have joined the investigation. Authorities are probing whether this was part of a larger espionage network, possibly linked to cross-border threats, especially in the wake of heightened tensions and increased security activity after Operation Sindoor. Security has been intensified in the region, and surveillance has been expanded to rule out the presence of more such hidden structures. This incident highlights evolving threats and the critical importance of intelligence coordination in border districts like Bikaner. #NationalSecurity #Bikaner #MilitaryIntelligence #IndiaSecurity #EspionageAlert #BorderSecurity #IndianArmy #SecurityBreach #IntelligenceAlert #RajasthanNews #DefenceNews #BreakingNews #IndiaDefense #OperationSindoor #SecurityForces

THE POLLARD AFFAIR ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ(1984-1985) The Pollard Affair was an espionage case involving Jonathan Jay Pollard, an American intelligence analyst who spied for Israel in the mid-1980s. Pollard, born in 1954 in Texas to a Jewish family, worked as a civilian analyst for the U.S. Navy. In 1984, he began passing classified information to Israel, motivated by a desire to aid the Jewish state, which he believed was not receiving sufficient intelligence from the U.S. despite their alliance. Pollard provided Israel with a vast amount of sensitive U.S. intelligence, including details on American signal intelligence gathering methods, military capabilities of Arab nations, and reportedly the identities of U.S. informants. The information he handed over was so extensive that it included the National Security Agencyโ€™s ten-volume manual on U.S. intelligence collection techniques. His actions were uncovered in 1985 when colleagues grew suspicious of his behavior, leading to an FBI investigation. On November 21, 1985, Pollard and his then-wife, Anne, attempted to seek asylum at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., but were turned away and arrested. In 1987, Pollard pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to deliver national defense information to a foreign government under a plea agreement. Pollard was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years. The severity of his sentence stemmed from the immense damage assessed by U.S. officials, who claimed the leaked information indirectly reached the Soviet Union via Israel, compromising national security during the Cold War. The affair strained U.S.-Israel relations significantly. Initially, Israel described Pollardโ€™s actions as a rogue operation unauthorized by its government, but in 1998, it admitted to paying him and formally apologized to the U.S. Pollard spent 30 years in prison, including seven in solitary confinement, and was released on parole in November 2015. After his parole ended in 2020, he moved to Israel, where he was welcomed by then-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and granted citizenship (which Israel had already conferred in 1995 while he was imprisoned).
