A&M was indeed not “right there”

For reference, here are the largest endowments for Universities in TX. Just because A&M and TCU spend an irresponsible amount of money on their football programs, they do not have anywhere near the actual operating budget of UT.

Texas is second to only Harvard in endowment and will pass them within the next year. Texas receives 66.6% of Permanent University Fund (PUF) to A&Ms 33.3%. This money comes from the Santa Rita oil well. No, A&M does not have more money than Texas.

@KayceSmith you keep repeating this false claim that A&M has more money than Texas. It’s just not true by any metric. I don’t know why you insist on repeating it. There was one year were you raised more money because you were expanding your stadium. That’s it.
