Some great news this morning 😁 On Sunday morning during community watch around the town centre I bumped into a homeless guy who'd been walking the streets for 3 days and had had no sleep. He was in Macdonald's keeping warm at 6am so I offered him the caravan that night. His brother saw the video of us all having breakfast in wetherspoons and reached out as him and his mum had been worried sick, he's not from this town, so yesterday I met the brother in town and found his brother Aaron for him and they reunited and he is now back were he belongs with his family and no longer on the streets 💙 thank you everyone that shared the video, social media is the most powerful tool at our disposal 👊🏻

🚨WOW!!! A homeless veteran loved his dog so much he gave him up after he couldn't feed him... giving him to a fire station with a note that read, "please help my baby." The firefighters adopted the dog. Then they found the vet living in a tent... and GAVE HIM A HOME TOO!!! Early one morning, firefighters in Fort Worth walked outside their station and found a pitbull named Jake chained to the flagpole and beside him, was a handwritten note. It was from a 65-year-old disabled veteran named Tom. He'd been living in a homeless camp for 20 months, ever since his landlord wouldn't renew his lease. He was trying to claw his way to a better life, but he couldn't do it and care for his dog at the same time. So he made the hardest decision of his life and in that note, he begged: "I have nothing but my baby Jake. If you have a soul and really care about helping babies, please help my baby." He gave up the only thing he had left in this world... because he loved that dog too much to watch him suffer. The firefighters didn't just take Jake in. They ADOPTED him. He's the station dog now, showered with love, "a boost in morale," they said. But they didn't stop there. The department's homeless outreach team went looking for Tom and they FOUND HIM in his camp. They got him medical care, and then a veterans nonprofit, Operation Texas Strong, stepped up and gave this old soldier an RV and a place to live. A man who had NOTHING gave up his last companion to save him... ...and a community turned around and saved them BOTH. As the man who housed him said: "No veteran should ever be homeless anywhere in the United States." This is the country I know, the one that doesn't leave a solider or his dog behind!!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Many people tagged me in a viral video of this American man, who has been widely referred to as the "Mzungu Chokoraa," claiming that he had been abandoned and was living on the streets. After I shared the video, his wife reached out to me and requested that I visit him to understand the true situation. This evening, I met him and his family, and I learned that he is not homeless. He is a married man, a father of five children, and has been living with his family in Texas, USA. According to his family, he has bipolar disorder, and his condition became worse after the passing of his mother. He is currently under medical care and takes prescribed medication. The family explained that during some episodes of his illness, he may leave home and wander the streets. This has led many people to believe that he is homeless, which is not true. They also shared that he has a passion for recycling and environmental conservation, which is why he is sometimes seen collecting recyclable materials or around dumpsites. I would like to clarify to the general public that this man is not homeless. He has a loving family that cares deeply for him. When you see him on the streets, please do not judge or discriminate against him. Instead, treat him with dignity, kindness, and respect, knowing that he is living with a mental health condition. The family has also appealed to the public not to buy him alcohol or give him weed, as both can interfere with his prescribed medication and may seriously affect his health. Let us replace stigma with understanding and compassion. Mental health conditions can affect anyone, and those living with them deserve our support, respect, and humanity.

This happened in Monroe, Louisiana. A man rolls up on his E- bike at Lowe’s store in outside garden. He grabs something (I don’t know what it is) and he’s getting ready to take off. Just another day in Monroe. This gentleman walks up and says something to him, probably to the tune of like why are you stealing? The guy on the bike seems to get upset. The man turns and walks away. I like how the other guy passes by, looks over and just keeps on walking. 🙄 Many people said they don’t understand why people would put themselves in harms way over a Fortune 500 company, they aren’t struggling they said and they have insurance. And others said they understood because of this economy and the times we are in. 😳 But a lot of others said this is one of the reasons our prices keep going up and it is not okay to justify stealing because of the economy. A Lowe’s employee said there is so much theft that it affects their livelihood, it affects their bonuses. What do you think? Is it worth confronting someone if you notice they are stealing from a store? Or should you just mind your own business and keep on walking?

This man’s dog passed away a few months ago. They used to tie him up to this tree out in the front yard as he loved being outside. They even buried his leash at the base of the tree. As he was walking by the tree they used to tie him up to, they noticed a formation at the bottom of the tree on the trunk and it looks so similar to a photo they have of him. He said he’s aware of pareidolia, where people see patterns or formations in certain things. But he doesn’t believe it is that. I see it. Think it is so cool and beautiful. ❤️ Do you see it? What do you think it is? Ever heard of pareidolia? Think he is seeing what he wants to see? Or, do you think it is definitely a sign of his beloved dog?

BREAKING: Fani Willis faces relentless attacks from Trump and Republicans and is now forced to move around with bodyguards. She even had to leave her home while nobody is defending her, MSNBC's Rachel Rachel Maddow claims, urges Americans to save the rule of law from death today and re-elect Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney who is prosecuting Trump in Georgia. WATCH "She travels with bodyguards, she's been forced to leave her home. All this while former President Trump continues to attack her relentlessly to his supporters, and as Republicans at the county, state, and federal level do everything they can to undermine and impugn and stymie her work and smear her personally. This level of sustained public attack is not usually the price of entry for doing your job as a district attorney. Nor should it be in a country where the rule of law is supposedly the rule. The ability of prosecutors and judges to do their jobs without fear is a fundamental test of our democracy. Whether you like the Georgia criminal case against former President Trump or not, Fani Willis is one of the bellwethers for the rule of law in this country. The history of the rule of law in this country tells us that the rule of law does not magically defend itself. And it is mortal. It can be killed when it is attacked. It breaks. The rule of law in this country, in practical terms, is made up of people doing hard jobs who themselves can break when they are attacked. And right now, you and I, all of us, we are making history in this country. And the history that we are making is that there is no one defending Fani Willis but herself. And in the noble alternate version of this history that we'd like to imagine we would be part of, the whole country would be up in arms about Georgia and about New York and about all of these cases, telling these people to back off the judges, back off the witnesses and the jurors, back off the prosecutors, back off Fonny Willis. Protect these cases. Protect the rule of law. We imagine that's who we are as a country, but we are not showing it. We are not standing up to defend these people, at least not yet. Let's start with the federal government and Jim Jordan. Jim Jordan has time after time after time attacked my office with no legitimate purpose. Anyone who knows Jim Jordan's history knows that he only has the purpose of trying to interfere in a criminal investigation. He has now turned his tricks to, he's going to look at grant programs, which I invite him to do, and we have complied with his subpoenas, but yet he continues his attacks to try to interfere in a criminal investigation while all, while his jurisdiction has one of the worst crime rates, has poverty issues, and not one time has he used his position to try to investigate people who are attacking me and attacking others legitimately, doing their jobs, making him illegitimate in his position. And it's disgusting. And so I bring that up at the federal level because now at the state level, they've decided to follow this clown's lead and they want to now try to interfere in an investigation. And it's not legitimate either. And so it shall fail, and it's not going to go anywhere. But they are trying to attack me at every level."

City officials and the police in Venice, California are completely failing to control the homeless and encampments So more than 350 businesses have now hired a private company called Ghost Town Consultants staffed with ex-gang members that go out and physically take care of encampments and the homeless “In Venice, these protected by Ghost Town signs are everywhere — The company does staff some former gang members” “One thing I kept hearing is that Ghost Town made a lot of their reputation here, right here on this sidewalk. We're outside the Whole Foods on Lincoln in Venice. There was an encampment here for years. It kept getting cleared, kept coming back. Neighbors said that Ghost Town somehow kept it clear in the way that city agencies didn't.” “People who are homeless in this neighborhood, on the other hand, do not feel positively about Ghost Town — One person even told me that a Ghost Town staff member had physically manhandled him in trying to remove him from a grocery store” Good. The homeless and drug situation in my town is getting worse. People are being let out of prison onto the streets with no adequate support and they're walking round like zombies off their head on cheap spice. Overdoses are daily, rehabilitation seems to be non existent unless you have someone fighting your corner or on the inside. We are probably into double figures for drug deaths this year already. I've been trying my hardest of late to help as many as possible, one lad we have secured accommodation and paperwork filled in for another to go to rehabilitation, I feed these guys as much as I can, I just can't manage that level of support every day as it's costing too much I'm going to start back doing daily vlogs to show you how bad the situation is at the minute in my town, what I'm trying to get at and asking is have you heard of the wetherspoons app game? Random people on Facebook take a picture of themselves in wetherspoons and put their location and table number on the post so you can buy them drinks and they thank you in the comments If I was to take the homeless in my town to wetherspoons would you consider buying them a meal from the app? No alcohol just food for our most vulnerable that don't get a proper meal Braffy hasn't eaten for 2 days and suffers from cancer, a £3 muffin and unlimited tea meal not only fills his stomach it keeps him out the cold dry and makes him realize people do care and will eventually lead to him wanting to take that step into rehab. Not only that you see that your support goes direct to those in need and nowhere else. It's an idea that I will be trailing out in the next few days. Thank you all for your continued support 💙

This guy went to Goodwill and found a clock, so he bought it... I bet he opened it up and saw the contents before buying, so of course it was worth the $6. As he was heading to his car, a couple was persistently trying to purchase it from him for $100. They more than likely were the original owners, trying to get there few hundred bucks back. Would you have done the same thing as this guy? Or made a deal with the other folks?

This is Richard Abraham... One of the students that represented Aguata Zone at the state level during the Governor's Debate of 2021. Richard was one of the best speakers that they gave him the title of an "Honourable". This title was given to him by His Excellency Willie Obiano before he stepped down as the governor of Anambra State. He speaks so well and his accent is on another level. Such a bright and promising young guy. Our school was knocked out at the state level and we all felt bad. I lost my Mom in 2022 and somehow I lost communication with Richard. All efforts to reach him proved abortive. Recently, someone told me about him... Little did I know he was running from the world that failed him. I finally caught him around Federal Polytechnic Oko last week we were able to meet this morning. Richard was orphaned immediately after our Debate. Coming from a polygamous home, his half-siblings threw him out because they didn't support their father marrying his Mom. He did not write his WASSCE when his mates did in 2022 because there was no one to support him. He slept in uncompleted buildings living in odd jobs just to survive. One spectacular thing was he didn't turn to delinquent means which could have been the easiest step. He has held on. I covered my conversation with him... Please hear from the horse's mouth. I am soliciting for help towards Richard. He needs to write his O'levels. He needs to understand and life has not giving up on him. Seeing such a rare talent wasting away in the slums is heartbreaking. Please reach out in any possible way... Let him us prove to Richard that it is not over.... Dale Earnhardt Jr. said he asked Cleetus McFarland "if he got dizzy spinning in circles" after the O'Reilly race, but spoke highly of Cleetus and how he's a great guy who is in NASCAR for the right reasons. "I feel like I've gotten to talk to him when the cameras are off, and he is such a great guy. And he truly just wants to come in here - he doesn't want to be the story for all the wrong reasons. He wants to come in, run his race, learn, get out of here without ruffling any feathers. He knows he's got a long way to go before he can really find the speed to perform. "... He's fun to have around. I've seen him and listened to him and watched him speak when the cameras aren't on, and he's in it for the right reasons. And he just wants to come in and be embraced and have a good time and enjoy himself. I appreciate that about him." Last night in Kawangware, I met this man whom I initially thought was a security guard. After speaking with him, I later came to learn that he is a Nigerian national currently living on the streets. Whenever I meet someone living on the streets, I always take time to engage with them, understand their story, and learn how they ended up there. My goal is always to see how best I can help them rebuild their lives. During our conversation, he shared that he came to Kenya after receiving a promise of sponsorship from his cousin to continue his education here. However, after only two weeks in the country, his cousin who had promised to support him left for the United States without enrolling him in school, leaving him stranded in Kenya. As we continued talking, he explained how he struggled to survive and eventually ended up living on the streets. He has now been on the streets for about two years. In one of the videos I recorded, a lady reached out to me and said she recognized him. According to her, they once lived in the same apartment building. She narrated how the man had been in a relationship with a lady who allegedly took everything he owned. This incident deeply affected him, pushing him into depression and eventually to the streets. The man also shared that at one point he worked in Dubai, where he used to send money back home to support his parents in Nigeria. However, when he later returned home, he claims he discovered that he had been deceived by the very people he trusted. He gave me his parents’ contact, although we were not able to fully hear their side of the story. Currently, his travel documents have expired, and he expressed that his biggest wish is to renew them so that he can return home to Nigeria and start life again. I offered to use my platform to help fundraise for the renewal of his documents, as he personally requested. He also asked if I could help him secure any form of work so that he could at least sustain himself as he waits to regularize his documents. However, after spending time with him and assessing his situation, it became clear to me that he urgently needs mental health support, as he appears to be struggling with depression. I therefore decided that the following morning I would take him to a private rehabilitation center where professionals could assess him and offer the help he needs. After we agreed on this plan, I took him to a hotel where he could spend the night safely. I paid for his room and food, intending to pick him up the following morning and take him for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, later in the morning I received a call from the hotel attendant informing me that although the man had slept well, he left the guest house very early in a hurry. Later reports indicated that he had been seen back on the streets. Since then, efforts to locate and rescue him have not been successful. I am informed that he rarely accepts help from people, which makes the situation even more challenging. If anyone happens to see or locate him, please kindly contact me through +254707946783 so that we can assist him, take him for rehabilitation, and help facilitate his return to his home country. I am also appealing to his fellow Nigerians living in Kenya, those back in Nigeria, and well-wishers both in Kenya and abroad come through for him and support the effort to give this man a second chance in life. HAWKERS IMPUNITY IN EASTLEIGH!. This young man, who was beaten up as though he were a thief, had only requested the Jam Street hawkers who have turned the road into an open market to allow him to pass so that he could attend to an emergency at home. Instead of letting him through, they completely blocked his way. When he stepped out of his car to reason with them, they turned on him and beat him until he ended up in the ICU. This is the height of impunity hawkers who are clearly in the wrong still believe they have the right to attack innocent people who also have the right to use the road. For how long will people continue to suffer in the name of earning a living? As a government, we cannot remain silent and watch people behave as if there are no rules and regulations governing our county. The law is very clear regarding hawking, illegal dumping after business, and blocking drainage systems. Such lawlessness will not be tolerated.

He stole one of a Honda Accord and got away with it😔 Just yesterday he came to break one from a Cholera but he couldn’t get away it He said hunger made him do it The guys are contemplating weather to beat him or not😭 in my view, they should just leave him
