About a month ago, powmia99 discovered a way to trigger arbitrary code execution fully standalone in Animal Crossing GameCube with nothing but a controller. This was confirmed by Cuyler and I to work on vanilla hardware and we now have a setup that makes it 100% consistent.

Interesting development - I was told numerous stories about what happened yesterday at Crosby. One being it was a group of Asian men attacking teenage girls. Some as young as 14. I dismissed it as rumours and told people to watch out for racism. People unfairly targeting Asians and making lies up about them. But I’ve just been sent this. Now unless there is a conspiracy to frame them. It’s now looking like this is the case. The only other possibility is that this was 2 separate incidents. But either way we can’t live in peace with savages who do this on a public beach in front of families. I don’t want to speculate. So I’m going to bite my tongue on this for the time being in case I’m wrong. It has since been confirmed that teenage girls have been attacked with a bladed item. But the attacker has not been confirmed. I’m currently speaking to the Echo to work out what’s going on.

JADE and her boyfriend Jordan Stephens reveal they started working on a documentary about JADE’s solo journey in 2021, which she’d like to continue working on this year. JADE explained: “We did try stuff at the start. This was a few years ago now [but we both got too busy]. It was such a cool idea of like, coming out of a group and being a solo artist and all that stuff. So that ship’s sailed now – but there’ll be something else.” Jordan agreed that there’s a new story to tell, teasing: “There’s an interesting take on it… There’s a couple of ideas we didn’t have the time to implement which we could revisit.” He confirmed he’s filmed “3 or 4 years of footage” so far.

Yesterday, as wildfires raged in Los Angeles, Savanah Hernandez (600,000 followers) and I followed a tip from a high-level San Diego Fire Department official about a homeless encampment known to be a public safety threat caused by reoccurring homeless FIRES. San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria & Gavin Newsom have done nothing to address this issue. Upon arrival, we discovered a fire started by the homeless that was already in progress. We immediately called 9-1-1. This is a crisis that needs attention NOW.

we're so full right now but I couldn't say no to this senior boy who was living in a colony and was hit by a car. It happened 2+ weeks ago but I was just alerted to the situation yesterday. His pelvis is broken and his hind leg is now necrotic and infected and so painful.

I have a little robot that unlocks my door from the inside (so I don't have to carry a key) The problem was it wouldn't calibrate on my door. It was designed for 90° turns, but my lock only needs 15° In the past, this would've been a showstopper But I asked AI if it could help... At first, it suggested I snoop on the bluetooth connection to figure out the protocol Then it realized that we could probably just decompile the app's SDK and read its source code. That worked! It told me to switch to my mac and run some python for it. Unfortunately, it couldn't run the scripts directly because Claude Code Desktop didn't have bluetooth permissions, but my shell did. Thinking about it now, I probably should've used Claude Code or Codex in the Terminal. Anyways, it took a while, lots of backs and forths, we had some misunderstandings, it was massively overcautious in the beginning, but we finally got the lock calibrated! Feels like magic! I threw the repo up on github in case anyone in the future (ie me) runs into a similar issue – hopefully it can save them some time
