1. #RustLang at 17.6% 🥇 Many languages, like #Java the #JVM, have many levels of abstraction before a command gets to the CPU. Others are 'close to the metal.' They interact more directly with the hardware. Rust is so 'close to the metal' that it makes metal 'rust.' 😅😂😅

2. Python 🐍 at 17.59% I did a 'Python or #Java' Tweet and Java got buried.🤷‍♀️ #Python is where all the mindshare seems to be.🐍 With Python, you've got access to all the major #Cloud SDKs, & you have access to great #AI, #ML and #datascience libraries.

3. TypeScript at 17.03%🤷‍♀️ Many purists refer to #JavaScript as #PoopScript 💩💩💩 for its lack of rules and the feeling that anything goes. TypeScript makes #JavaScript look like a real programming language. The simplicity of #JavaScript, but the structure of #C++ or #Java.

4. Go at 16.41%🚥 Who created #GoLang? The first 2letters of the name should be a big giveaway.🚦 #Docker & #Kubernetes was written in Go! If you want to live in the #cloudnative world, Go is what u need.🐳 Like #RustLang, Go is also close to the metal.

5. JavaScript at 12.98% Who doesn't love #JavaScript?❤️ It's the language of the web browser, there are #cloud SDKs from #AWS, #Oracle, #Azure and #Alibaba.👍 You can even write backend apps with a little #NodeJS sprinkled it. JavaScript is the most approachable language.

It makes me sad that Java wasn't on the list.☕️ But I know the #Python 🐍community actively promotes myths about Java, while avoiding conversations about thier severe performance and energy consumption issues. I dispell a lot of those myths here.👇

So the Python langauge is so confusing and poorly designed that users have to constantly ask questions to clarify how it works. Yeah, not sure if that's a metric to brag about. 🤷‍♀️
