An FOI revealed Lowestoft closed in 2010, yet the Met Office kept issuing official temperatures for it. The office said they were using well-correlated neighboring stations, but the FOI revealed that this was a lie. The only crime of these people is that they are poor! ​People are being indiscriminately evicted from multiple stations and adjoining slum areas across West Bengal, which fall under railway land. They are not even being given the bare minimum time to make alternative arrangements. ​Even last night, ruthless bulldozers rolled through Dum Dum and Uttarpara stations. Yet, far from taking responsibility for these people, no BJP representative made the slightest effort to discuss or arrange alternative housing or livelihoods for them! Ironically, these marginalized people had also cast their votes to form the new government. ​Against this inhumane and cruel system, the CPI(M) and the trade union CITU are trying their best to build a fierce resistance by standing alongside these helpless people. However, they are repeatedly forced to halt in the face of the overwhelming might of the state power... ​In just one month, so many families in this state( WB) have lost both their shelter and their livelihood! Who, ultimately, will take responsibility for these people?

You notice how .. May in fact has been very average if not cooler than average - all month.....and yet the climate hysterics focus on the one hot day which has now passed already Records? I don't think so .. we've had the same temp many times before . And that was without the Met office fiddling figures ... There's a reason Lidos were once so prolific in the U.K. and one of the most popular things to do in the 20s and 30s Perhaps if the Met didn't use once lone weather stations which are now surrounded by buildings... or went back to using air source rather than ground ... or take temps at runways or near solar fields... The temps would in fact not be anywhere record breaking. Especially if you go back centuries And again if we had cheap energy we could warm and cool our homes as needed and no hysteria would be needed and we could focus instead on cleaning up our rivers and seas and green spaces which ARE in need of help. Warm is good Enjoy

And so it's making their earnings inflate.” “So he's claiming they're cooking the books. Google first made this change in Q1 of 2021, where they said the servers are now going from 3 to 4 years. Separately in 2021, Google took networking equipment from 3 to 5 years. And then in 2023, they took it from 5 to 6 years.” “And so this is a result of this effort where they went in and did an analysis. So what happened?” “What happened in the data centers is that the data centers transitioned from being primarily data storage and data transfer systems, where you would use hard drives and RAM and memory to store data and then transmit it back out, to being data processing centers because of the AI boom.” “So as AI became more important in the data center, more of the dollars that are going into data centers were allocated towards chips from data storage, which initially was hard drives.” “And then suddenly, when you put these processors in to process the data to do AI, the majority of the spend and the majority of the energy is going towards the processors.” “I made some calls and I checked around with some other friends, and everyone says the same thing: that these 7-8 year old TPUs and GPUs that are sitting in the data centers are still being used and they're being used at 100% utilization.” “So that actually justifies and validates the depreciation schedule being much longer versus shorter.”

🚨Labour and Lib Dem MPs just voted to INCREASE the cost of energy, food, shipping, housing, heating and holidays by voting for Ed Miliband’s new Net Zero target. One of the reasons I asked to stay in this brief was my time in the Department and seeing how badly we were making decisions about climate and energy. There’s simply no scrutiny or proper analysis of what these targets are doing to jobs, the cost of living or to the competitiveness of our industry. The Minister bringing it forward refused to take a single intervention. She did not answer a single question. I’m sorry, but that is simply not good enough. MP after MP cited bogus figures or praised the Climate Change Committee’s analysis without being even slightly troubled that their cost of offshore wind was wrong by a factor of three. Get the cost of energy wrong and all your other assumptions about the cost of living and the economy will be wrong too. I am proud Kemi Badenoch and I have changed our party’s position. We are the only party who have said we should measure the offshoring of emissions. We are the only party who have a plan to make electricity cheaper without costing the taxpayer a penny. We are the only party with a fully costed plan to axe the Carbon Tax which is replacing clean British industry with dirtier foreign imports. This debate shows why Parliament is not working. Poor analysis let off the hook by poor scrutiny. So-called impact assessments which are written to be as impenetrable as possible, and which MPs show no interest in reading or questioning. We need fewer virtue signalling MPs and many more who can read modelling assumptions.
