Mr Amir Sohail former cricketer, chief selector and commentator choosing to mock Karachi city on air during a Khi vs Lhr PSL match being watched globally is disappointing, to say the least. Right after a positive PCB package celebrating both cities, he chose to bring up “pan spits in Karachi and saying they symbolise Khi city” a tired and insulting stereotype. Completely unnecessary and in poor taste. Karachi is Pakistan’s largest city and economic backbone. It deserves respect, not ridicule especially from those meant to represent the country on the world stage. Shame!

Imran Khan and his sister both say that Pakistan should give up it's nuclear weapons. Pakistan is currently in a state of war and PTI is dreaming of destroying Pakistan’s atomic bomb. Why India ,Israel and PTI want to denuclearize the only Muslim nuclear power? Another evidence that PTI propaganda accounts are run by RAW and Mossad against Pakistan. They want to destabilize Pakistan internally and want to denuclearize it.

Last week, Karachi ATC could not issue the acquittal order in the case of Dr Mahrang Baloch because the stenographer was on holiday. This week, two judges were on holiday so our judge was overburdened. Unfortunately, the FIR in question is so flawed (filed by a criminal, outdated charges, Mahrang was on the other side of town), that the judge cannot rule in the state’s favour even if it wants to. But it can’t rule in Mahrang’s either so a holiday it is. Mahrang’s words to the Karachi Bar this time last year have been proven right.
