Connecticut deserves a better energy plan than “turning off the lights.” I’m running for governor to eliminate every hidden tax in our electricity bills, limit energy company profits, and reduce electricity rates by 20 percent. You shouldn’t be expected to “turn off the lights” due to high energy costs. We should expect state leaders to turn down the costs.

The plan instead is to extract it on site, burn it in a local power plant, and use that electricity to mine bitcoin. The energy will be consumed at the source, because that route is simpler and more profitable. Taxes, regulation and grid constraints all add friction. The gas could power homes. It isn't. Because burning it on site makes more money. That is a damning indictment of UK energy policy.

The 16,000 MW target under this yojana will be operational by June 2026, supplying daytime electricity to 32,93,592 agricultural consumers across 8,428 channels via 2,251 substations. Previously if the Govt gave free electricity to farmers Govt borne the cost of ₹7 per unit. But now with this green energy milestone, the cost will be reduced to ₹3 per unit, significantly easing the financial burden on the Govt while ensuring access to electricity throughout the day to farmers.
